First experience with this chain. Drive up was swift and courteous. The car line moved right along even though two lines merged into one. Basic chicken was good but not outstanding. The spicy chicken deluxe was much better although we were surprised how thick the chicken was...and moist. Waffle fries were a treat and went fast. This turned out to be our 29th anniversary dinner! We went all out.

Service was great and the food was very good as well. Calamari was nut the usual rings but was tender with a very crispy breading. Both of the included dipping sauces were tasty. The pork chop and pork medallions were both well prepared and very flavorful.

Best Breakfast in town!!
Having just finished a big backpacking trip, it was time for a celebratory breakfast. And when I couldn't decide between sweet or savory, I realized I didn't need to -- I could have both! I had the vegetarian Benedict, which was excellent, using very fresh eggs and delicious Hollandaise. I also had some blueberry pancakes. My buddy had the vegetarian omelet, which he said was fantastic. The atmosphere was nice and the service good. Prices ok as well.

We went to Famous Dave's for dinner after reading reviews. We arrived at 6:30 on a week day and did not have to wait. We noticed they have a large waiting area so it may get crowded on summer weekends. We settled into a large table for 6 in a rustic log dining room with lots of space. The table service was quick and friendly. They brought an appetizer tray quickly so we could munch on various meats while waiting for our main dinners. Drinks were also served quickly. I had their beef brisket. It was so tender it fell off my fork. My friends also enjoyed their choices. My only complaint was when I went and asked for a Caesar salad as a side instead of their usual sides. The kitchen couldn't handle that change so I was served a separate Caesar salad (a menu item) instead of as a side. Their food is served on tin trays rather than large plates. I ended up with 2 of their tin trays, one for the salad. But my table did not really have room for 2 of their trays so I had to set the salad away while eating the brisket. As for quality, I won't bore you with details but lets say that Famous Dave is a meat place, not a salad place. Don't order their Caesar salad. Get all their meat items and their usual sides. We had a good time and their BBQ meats were perfection. Service was friendly and fast. Famous Dave's is a great place for anyone on a low carb diet. I'm not sure if a vegetarian should go there. This place was barefoot friendly.

We were craving pizza, but wanted local. This place did the trick and then some. Fun friendly atmosphere. Courteous staff, great food - in abundance and local brews. And a dessert that was very Montana. (That's pretty much anything with huckleberries!)Thank you so much for the feedback, Trivers. We appreciate you taking the time to share your positive experience.

Arrive early - we arrived on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 pm and there was a wait for a party of 2. We opted for the counter. This worked out great. Our server was Austin - he was great! The boyfriend and I recently had a late breakfast (1:00ish) at this family style restaurant in the heart of Kalispell. I love breakfast food all times of the day so I knew there would likely be something here that I would like. There was about a 20 minute wait upon our arrival. We were offered two seats at the bar (w no wait) or to wait for a table. We choose the bar seats. Service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the French toast with huckleberries and it was delicious! Again, just amazing and my mouth is watering just remembering it. I do not recall what my boyfriend ordered but it was likely a lunch/dinner selection and I know whatever he ordered he also liked. If you are in the area and enjoy trying local eats, I would recommend stopping in! Thanks for the positive recommendation and review! And thank you as well for taking the time to post in on Trip Advisor. We work hard to do things well here and it's nice to have it acknowledged.
