We understood after leaving that this restaurant had just opened under new management. It showed. With only a few people seated, it still took a long time to get the food (hamburgers). The people behind us ordered, then sent their burgers back, then were served again, then walked out leaving their meals untouched on the table. The hamburgers did not taste like any beef I have ever had.
This is a small, family run food camper that has AMAZING food. Only place in town that does fry bread right. You canât visit the Blackfeet Reservation without getting good fry bread. Good prices and good food and youâre supporting a local family.

We had about 1 hour and 30 minutes for lunch. Seated ourselves. Took about 5 minutes in a nearly empty restaurant to get a waitress. Friendly enough person. Ordered water and tea. It was hard to tell the difference between the water and the tea - the tea was only slightly darker than the water. The table next to us had regular looking tea. We were given 5 menus - 4 different versions. Ordered a pizza, burgers, BLT and soup. Again, about two other tables in the restaurant. After 40 minutes of waiting for our food, the waitress came by and said she was sorry, that the cook was very slow. When we finally got our food, about an hour after we ordered, the pizza was clearly a frozen pizza and was poorly heated - the crust separated. The burgers were the frozen type, not real burgers. The BLT was fine. When we asked for ketchup the waitress came back with two nearly empty bottles and told us to "see what we could get out of them...". We had to get up and find plates, silverware and napkins ourselves. When the table next to us left, the lady told me she hoped by soup was warm, that hers was not and she walked to a table she had line of sight to (near the register where the waitress was standing) and grabbed a full bottle of ketchup and brought it over to us. The waitress did give us a 15% discount...but it was too little too late. Horrible food, absolutely the worst service I have EVER had in my ENTIRE life. You would be better off grazing on grass on the side of the road.

We preferr wait a little more to get table on the part with views...If you want them arrive afterr 7'30 pm as a lot of people want to have the curtains down ...because of the sun...So for the management : try to orientate at check in..the one who don't want sun on the opposite side of the room, the one who want view and sujn...on the tables with view...We are here to see the mountain, not a curtain and if old people did not support : on the other side...The charcuterie/cheese sampler is very good, the soups delicious.Truit and bison in entree are superb.Dessert should be better if using the local products : berries, Flatehead cherries...(a creme brule with huckleberries or cherries or pies are so simple...).nice list of beers, good choice of wine

Three miles outside of East Glacier, MT.
I had the shrimp scampi pasta and my husband had the prime rib dip. Everything tasted good, the service was great, and the wait short but I felt the food was overpriced for the atmosphere we were in.

We'd never have found this place but for advice from a local. It's outside of town and not well marked as a restaurant. So glad we found it though. It's essentially a "dining room" building on a ranch. Cows milling about. A working ranch.Gotta tell you, I had a 16 oz Ribeye Steak there that was unbeatable! That meal was worth a million bucks! My wife had Chicken Fingers. Said they were ok too, but not a star like that beef. And they had these Bison Chips (potato, not meat) that we could have made a whole meal on, they were so good. This place is just West of town. They also have cabins there to stay at. Blink your eye at the wrong time and you'll miss the sign that just says "Bison Creek Ranch", so watch for that sign. If you're hoping to find a great place for supper, you'll be happy you found this place!

Whistle Stop is casual dining; food was good and given limited number of eateries in this area, it is perhaps the best choice. We did several dinners and breakfasts there and we were always satisfied with service and food. They appear to have some special home desserts (cakes, etc.) but we did not get any... too full after meals.

Friendly little diner with great staff and a perfect breakfast to start our GNP adventures! My over-easy eggs were perfectly cooked. My mom's short-stack pancakes were delicious, huge, fluffy (more than enough for her, really). We were there early enough to watch the bakery next door filling their displays for the day (bringing the baked goods through the back door of Two Medicine Grill)...so if you have a chance to visit both of these places, I suggest trying the bakery too! Looked delicious!

Summit Mountain Lodge & Steakhouse provides casual fine dining with exceptional food made from scratch, exceptional service, extraordinary views and a remarkable dining experience. We are Glaciers newest wedding destination with a 5 star chef in house!
Very nice place, excellent service and good selection of food. A bit on the pricey side but this is a finer place than the ones in the village. Would have appreciated some bread to accompany the food maybe but overall it was very nice.Thank you for the kind words and the review we do appreciate it
