Grotta Giusti is located in Monsummano Terme just a few kilometres from Florence, Pisa and Lucca.Set in a private park with secular trees, the early nineteenth century villa, now a prestigious Hotel, enriched by antique furnishings and paintings, has maintained intact its historical air and natural charm. The 58 double rooms and 6 Junior Suites, furnished in a refined, fresh style, offer unexpected details such as the bathrooms in luxurious white marble with thermal water on tap. The Hotel is directly connected to the Spa, which has a modern Wellbeing Centre with an Oriental area, equipped gymnasium, numerous relaxation areas and a medical aesthetic centre. The Spa also has an open air pool with 750 square metres of thermal water, picturesque cascade and underwater hydro-massages and the large millennial Grotta to end the day with a beneficial, relaxing "steam bath". Immersed in the park are the fresh water swimming pool, tennis court and fitness walk with further trekking courses for excursions in the surrounding countryside. And, just a few kilometres from Grotta Giusti, an 18 hole golf course.

Reviewed By soulefultravelerWe also found this place through the Marriott network. Recently reopened after covid shutdown/renovations. Amazing. Our room was small but nicely appointed. It was seasonably warm, and - unlike most hotels in Italy - they actually put on the AC system. So it was very comfortable. Lovely grounds. Unbelievable spa facilities and the largest outdoor thermal pool in Europe (open to the local public, so crowded on the weekend but there is a private area for hotel guests). Restaurant had a great breakfast buffet with everything one could want. Casual looking place, with outdoor seating available. Entertainment in the beautiful bar on the weekends. Family and dog friendly. Staff was generally good, but the front desk did drop the ball on a few requests we made. English language skills could also be improved. Pricey. But overall this was an outstanding place that we thoroughly enjoyed.

The Relais Poggio degli Olivi is situated on the bottom of Montevettolini hill old medieval fortress of xii sec. The atmosfear is refined and elegant whit swimming pool of salty water and idromassage. The rooms are furnish whit care in "old poor tuscan style" whit all the comfort whit buffet breakfast included whit room. The restaurant offer delicious plates of tuscan kitchen.

Quiet place for comfortable resting in rural surroundings and as starting point to visit western Tuscany and Florence, The ONLY ONE (!) negative remark - a shower cabin was in contrast to a very good quality od the room and bathroom equipment - relatively small and a little bit destroyed.

Nice place, but don't go if looking for authentic experience
Reviewed By AnnekreetThe Collina Resort marketing text is promising a cosy wine and olive farm in the countryside, so we had very different expectations when we went there. The Resort is located in the countryside indeed, in fact the road to the place is probably the worst you will see in Italy (and believe me, I saw many bad roads there). And it is a farm, since there are lots of olive and wine trees around, but it is no ones home, so it is actually farm from cosy. The resort is build for big parties and weddings, it is too corporate for my personal taste. As people work there, they don't live there. Our rooms were nice, but I found it quite strange that they asked extra cost for the air condition. It was already expensive, so we didn't take it, but should have. It is extremely hot in the summer nights and since the windows don't have mosquito nets, you don't want to keep the windows open. As a result you can't sleep and sweat all night long. Instead of paying extra for the air condition, we left as fast as we can. There are instructions in the rooms - what you are not allowed to do: don't taste eat any own food, don't taste any fruits from the fields, don't this and don't that. Also, during the day, they bring more people from the Hotel located in Montecantini Terme to the resort for a relaxing day in countryside and the entire farm + pool get even more crowded. I am not saying it was all that horrible, because the rooms are nice and the place itself is nice, too. But don't go there if you expect authentic agriturismo with local people and local tastes. It is far from that!

Reviewed By Mihai SIn the beautiful Toscany is the perfect place if you want to relax and feel the Italian traditions. ”La Casa di Zia Lina” is the best place to stay in Monsummano Terme, is quite central, you ll meet Sam and his great family. The house is very nice with a good vibe full of colors, I stayed in the blue room, you find everything you need. And ”la colazione” is nice. So all the story is a must for you.

The farm is located in the territory of Poggiotondo Monsummano Terme, in the picturesque nature reserve of Valdinievole, a short distance from Montecatini Terme. In the Farmhouse you can find extra virgin olive oil produced from their olive grove. They also produce jam, figs, plums, cherries and other fruits inside the company as well as honey.

We stayed here by surprise (a friend recommended at the last minute), and were delighted by how nice the owners were to their surprise middle of the night guests. The place is well cared for and the property is beautiful. They often have weddings, so the place is set up for elegant parties.

Situato a 600 mt dal centro di Monsummano e a soli 600 mt dallo Stabilimento Termale Grotta Giusti Natural Spa, in una posizione strategica che permette di raggiungere Firenze, Lucca e tutta la costa della Versilia in meno di mezz'ora, il B&B VIA DELLA GROTTA e' al primo ed ultimo piano di una villetta degli anni 60, vi offre due camere matrimoniali ampie e luminose, una arredata in stile classico ed una Shabby, cucina attrezzata e soggiorno, terrazzo. È costituito da 2 camere da letto matrimoniali una con bagno interno e l'altra con bagno estero, una cucina attrezzata con piano di cottura, forno, frigorifero,fornino, tostapane , un soggiorno dove è ubicata la tv e dove si trova un eventuale terzo letto., due disimpegni e due terrazzi. Ha l'ingresso indipendente
