The food is always good and the portions generous at this property. The staff is helpful and efficient. The specials are spot on and the fish is amazingly fresh. The pizzas are simply enormous and could feed a small town. This one is worth visiting several times.

Food • Friends • Family • Fun In 1972, Max & Erma created a fun, unique, gourmet hamburger restaurant you could take friends & family to, decorating it with quirky artifacts & local paraphernalia. Since that day, we've been committed to providing our guests with delicious all-American food & friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere the whole neighborhood can enjoy. We've grown over the years, but always remain true to what made us successful-delivering a great guest experience. After all, Max & Erma wouldn't have it any other way.
I called ahead and they let me put my name on the wait list. We only had to wait 5 minutes to be seated which was great because there was a big crowd. The wait staff was great and very friendly. I had the balsamic chicken which had a He potential to be good but was overdone to almost burned. The baked potato and asparagus was good. I would try it again next time I'm in the area.

Stopped here for lunch and I haven't been here for awhile but nothing has changed. I had the pork with vegetables that came with egg roll and fried noodle that came with duck sauce that was just delicious and steamed rice. The vegetables were snow peas water chestnuts mushrooms and others in a delicious brown sauce. The service was excellent and came quickly all for around 15.00 for 2. Absolutely the best around.

Home of the Almost Famous Sandwich! Half Priced Happy Hour Every Day!
Went on a Thurs night. Not sure why but the place was packed and busy. Was seated immediately but took forever for waitress to acknowledge that we were there. Once we put our order in food came in a reasonable amount of time. Food was OK, but menu was pretty limited as far as semi healthy options go. One of our sandwiches was not correct. Waitress offered to remake it but by then my friend had eaten 1/2 of it. Very disappointed. Would not go back... mostly because of the menu. Just not my type of food I guess. I got the pizza. It was OK.

Food and service is good. Limited menu. A tad loud atmosphere. Would recommend if you're looking for pizza.

Always like going to Rivertowne for food & drink when we visit family in Monroeville. They have a variety of brews both regular & seasonal. Food portions are really large and very good. We always end up taking food home with us. Nice atmosphere, good service and good brews.

Please note my previous review of this restaurant. Smiles and service make a great difference to a dining experience. This was a first time Sunday buffet for this restaurant which we go to frequently for lunch! From Bob at the breakfast basics station, to Larry at the carving station and Chad our server, service was outstanding! Food and presentation outstanding as well. Prime rib was excellent and other offerings of Sesame Tuna and a chicken dish were as well. They even had a selection of what looked like tenders and smiley fries for kids. I was amazed when I saw that. Dessert selections were yummy and plentiful but what really rocked me was an Angel food selection prepared as French toast! Who knew? Five stars! Thank you De Nunzio's for a delightful experience on a weather inclement (15 degree) day! Bill before tip $47.50

Every visit to Pittsburgh's East Suburbs include a visit to Udipi. The place has a consistent local following and never disappoints. Every different item I have ordered I would eat again. I am not an Indian food expert and yet have always been delighted with my choices.

We ate there over the weekend.. Everything we had was quite good... Chips and salsa, burritos, pina coladas, soda, re fried beans... spot on.. Only negative is the rice.. Quite frankly, it tasted bad.. It tasted worse than what you get out of a box..
I recommend eating here if you are in the neighborhood but skip the rice...
