Things to do in Glen Waverley
Situated on the main walkway on the upper level of The Glen Shopping Centre this is a pleasant enough place to sit and have a break. The snacks however leave a little to be desired, my ham and cheese toastie was almost dry and tough. the Fruit bread however was not bad.Coffee was reasonable.
Obviously the stores are run to a formula which includes selling low profile pies at higher than average prices. Maybe the rents in the Glen warrant a $6 pie but mine wasn't to my liking so i will continue to use the local bakery rather than buying when i am in the Glen shopping centre. You may have a captive audience but you still need to offer great products and value for money. I marked pricing as mid range because of the high price for thin pies!

The Waverley International Hotel is an absolutely superb place for all guests to stay. Our No. 301 Restaurant offers you a homey feeling breakfast every morning. Also, it is still the perfect fine dining place for your business trip, family relax or even
Whilst the restaurant was simply furnished and lit, the food was surprisingly good. Grilled barramundi and slow roasted lamb shoulder were superb.Thank you for your kind review. We are always improving. Please come and try our new 301 Thursday and Friday Menu. Our chefs have worked hard to create a new tasting menu for your enjoyment. We hope to see you once more. After walking into an empty restaraunt I wasnât sure what to expect, especially when all the other restaurants on the street were busy. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The vegetarian burger was really good. The service was average but not unpleasant.

Well we could try and interpret the origin of the name but weâre here for the coffees and some brunch thanks. First impression for something that looks small on the outside is the massive size of the restaurant. Itâs pretty big compared to the other restaurants along this strip in Glen Waverly. Mojo points for size: 5 out of 5.Friendly staff that opens the door for you, your partner and pram with sleeping newborn: 5 out of 5.Getting seated at the rear most table near a smelly toilet: 2 out of 5. We moved seats when another table vacated.Time to wait for coffees was almost 15 minutes despite it not being crowded: 2 out of 5.Coffees: 6 out of 5... just reclaimed their spot.Menu isnât your run of the mill like every other cafe. So for being different and pushing the boundary: 5 out of 5.Smoked salmon bagel: 4 out of 5. The wasabi cream cheese was quite nice. Not too overpowering.Pretzels on the side were questionable but not offensive. 0.5 for creativity and presentation.Chicken schnitzel for the missus was massive. Came with chips. She rates it 2 out of 5. Was pretty standard. Overall a good experience. Nothing too exciting. Overall mojo rating: 7.5.

Helped my friend move to the area and after lots of lifting, packing we became quite hungry. We found Trei cafe and sat in.The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming with super friendly staff. And the meals?!Looks inviting, healthy and delicious. My friend ordered the big breakfast option, while I chose the smashed avocado, sweet pea with scrambled eggs and fresh tomatoes. It was fresh, tasty and satisfying. We are definitely coming back to explore more meal options both from the breakfast and lunch menus.

We tried a little cafe called 1809 in Mt Waverley & we werenât disappointed! Well worth the 25 min drive. Great service & Wayne loved the orange soaked Bircher muesli! I had smashed avo with poached eggs that were perfectly cooked & pomegranate & fetta. Highly recommend it & yes as you can see little Miss loved the Nutella milkshake! Beautifully decked out too!!

There is one hour and two hour parking make sure you read the signs. No sooner sat down with my friend and a waiter asked about drinks. Loved the service. I had calamari for the main course and it was out quickly, well presented, reasonable price. Friend had a turkey sandwich which looked huge, and a milk shake. This is a go back to place, service and parking a good.

Welcome to Piatella â a multicultural cafe & bar in the heart of Glen Waverley. The idea of Piatella was originally envisaged during a family holiday to Europe 2 years before its doors opened on Kingsway in 2012. Walking the narrow, windy streets of Paris
I was looking forward to the Reuben but found the bbq sauce too sweet and there was only some small slices of pickle instead of lots of pickle or even better would have been sauerkraut. It was a generous serving with delish steak fries. No doggie bags allowed. We had to call a server over to ask for another cup of tea as we waited and waited for someone to ask us.Decor great quality timber, bricks, concrete, glass and steel with a nice bright area indoors under skylights.
