Try the delicious cannelloni and lasagna complemented by a simple fresh salad... followed by an amazing Apple Tart Tatin... quieter than other cafes in the area, we really enjoyed the ambience and very attentive service! No wonder such great ratings!

Italian Homemade Fresh Pasta Available to eat here or take away Raw and cooked pasta, Italian products
I have been coming here for a number of years for lunch with my family. My daughter is rather fussy about Italian pasta- she loves the ragu, tomato/basil sauce and the vibe in the busy market. Personally the cloches with cepes and truffle with sage&butter are melt in the mouth good, so much so I always take some home to cook later. The personnel serving are gracious and patient despite how busy it can get. Reasonable prices and lovely food.Service, value, food all 5 star!! We thought this restaurant had promise, a friendly setting and well situated, but the waiters were unfriendly, we were not even offered the "specials" and one of us ordered a dish and was brought something completely different, which they said they could change but we would have to wait for 20 minutes for the correct one, which would have meant we did not eat together. Furthermore they charged for the more expensive dish which we did not even get served. The food we did have was mediocre.Dear Marion,We are sorry for your experience!

These people are the kindest! I went by myself and ordered the three course meal! Waiter said to me that it is big, I just said itâs my birthday and I would like to try everything. By the end of it I was so full but was such a great meal! I have finally found the right pasta after travelling for 5 weeks! At the end they came out and sang happy birthday to me! Never felt so at home !

We stumbled across this friendly Italian restaurant for an early dinner, after sightseeing all day in Monaco. We ordered pizza, calzone and grilled prawns. Everything was delicious and freshly made. The bill was very reasonable, too. My son said the pizza was the best he ever tasted. We saw locals come to get takeaways. It's not a snooty place and we felt really relaxed. We tried to go back for lunch, but it wasn't opened till evening time on Saturdays, and so we had to go elsewhere, which was 30% more expensive as it's Monaco price. If you are near Carmes or St. Roman area in Monaco, do go to IL Giardino for a meal and you definitely won't be disappointed.

Nice ambience but very expensive for what you get for at an Italian Pizza Restaurant ordered the seafood paella and pizzas had couple bottles of wine at Euro 29 recommended by waiter and 2 bottles of water Euro 6 each bill came to Euro 250 waiter and staff very pleasant but found it very much overpriced for a mid-week meal. Dear Bobby027,Thank you very much for your feedback and for the nice comments about our staff and ambience. We have a wide selection of dishes and wines on our menu, to satisfy everybody, so, I'm sure next time you will come to visit us we will recommend you some food and drinks more appropriate.Looking forward to welcome you again soon. With Kind Regards,Luigi Visciano

A small and hidden place in the heart of Monte Carlo - warm, white, essential - where you can taste the flavours of a real Italian kitchen, maybe fall in love with a glass of wine and spend some joyful time sitting at the table. Serving Italian breakfast
This restaurant was lovely and delicious. This tiny Italian restaurant is located in the heart of Monaco, inside a shopping mall in a very private, reserved part of it! It had great reviews here, so we decided to try it and absolutely happy we did so! Apparently the menu changes every day, and we were lucky enough the day we visited, to have 'Paccheri Bolognese' - a type of pasta in the shape of a very large tube, originating from Campania with the 'Bolognese sauce' a meat-based sauce in Italian cuisine, typical of the city of Bologna. It was sublime!! We also ordered 'Carpaccio Bresaola' a beef fillet which is first cured in salt and spices, and then hung to dry. We paid Euro 41,00 that for us it was perfectly fine - not necessarily too expensive, but again we live in London so the prices are similar. Value: 10/10 If you visit Monaco, trust me, you need to try it!

They have vegetarian choices too and the place is also kid friendly. Staff was very polite and friendly and location can't get any better than this.

The excellence of the Italian products together with the experience of the most famous cuisines, that have made the history of gastronomy in Italy: the restaurant Marcello reopens under a new style, a new starred menu, a concept of catering that was not t
I went back to one of our favourite restaurants in Monaco tonight. Unfortunately it has been refurbished and changed hands. The staff, ex the manager and 2 charming female waitresses, have been put in uniforms, and there are tv screens flashing up pictures of food, and sadly itâs lost its atmosphere and sense of friendly informality. The hanging hams, cook books, interesting wine, olive oil and pasta, the nice buzz at the bar all gone. The food and wine list adequate without being exciting, music loud and head waiter charmless. What a change, what a shame. Was 5 stars, now 3. Why have they changed a winning formula? Own goal.
