Reviewed By rans_webAs I chose the upper scale apartment (penthouse) that has all the benefits, I gave it a 5 star review. Might have been 4 star. Pros :amazing view (upper floors), huge rooms and space. Crazy appliances. All you need for up to six ppl vacation space. The beach access and pool are great, diving area right on the beach, with nice veriaty of dishes (at reasonable cost). Service is good. I am on the fence regarding transportation, as there is limited tuk tuk/ boda boda outside the perimeter. Safety is high. Beach is clean. Cons: the place is clean, but room cleaning is not done unless asked specifically. As usual when you leave the perimeter toward the beach, expect hassle from beach boys and others. And it's a bit pricey. Some tour offers being arranged (ie wasini/shimoni) are better done outside. Not all actual operators are good and price varies.

Cooking on your own is possible as well, but to be honest: with such a nice restaurant right around the corner, you will gladly skip cooking for a night.

Reviewed By SaigonDougBooked an ocean view room. There are NO ocean view rooms. If you go up to the roof, look over buildings and trees, about 1/2 a mile away you can see some water. No free breakfast as advertised, wanted to charge us each $5. For breakfast. We went out and bought food to cook, found the refrigerator not work, just like the TV. The next day they got the refrigerator and the TV working. Upon arriving, we wanted diner at the beach, the hotel workers informed us the beach was too dangerous after dark. There is AC in the bedroom, but the coolness never reaches the living room, this is important if you are there at midday. We informed the front desk, of our issues. That message was never passed on. I spent 3 hours on the phone with Hotels.Com, they called the hotel, the hotel lied and said they have an ocean view, and they gave us breakfast. One reason for such long phone calls was the very poor WiFi at the hotel! You can check my reviews, almost all are very positive.

Soulless and poorly maintained
Reviewed By SeemaV_13We stayed in one of the self-contained studio apartments and would not recommend staying here because it is poorly maintained. The living space was filled with clunky furniture which meant there was little space for storage. The bathroom is very poorly installed and I got electric shocks (very low in intensity) when touching the shower tube; then the toilet seat was broken............ Why do owners think it acceptable to provide accommodation which is of such a poor standard?

Reviewed By Anonim75This was the best hotel in which I stayed in Kenya. Everything is new and clean and location is close to the beach (if you go through the Voyager Hotel or 10 minutes walk to public access). They have a really nice roof terrace with a spectacular view. Patrick, the owner, was really nice and help us a lot, even by picking us up from the airport. The staff is very nice and friendly, breakfast was tasty and served very swift. I am just sad we could not stay more due to our schedule.

Self catering but you can opt to eat out or order in .It's close proximity to the mall (5minute walk ) makes shopping easy.The beach,good night clubs and various restaurants are all easily accessible. The apartment is cleaned every two to three days and I love the personal attention given to every one who stays there . Definitely my 1st choice whenever am at the coast for business .

Reviewed By Bushido_BlackThe place is too run down to consider any form of decent stay there. For those looking for accommodation, it's best to give the place a wide berth. Only 1 socket in the room that serves the small television. Dirty linen. The room I slept in had some weird droppings on the bed sheets every 30 minutes. At first, I thought it was bedbugs only to find out that the wooden ceiling board was being eaten away by some bugs. The place should be shut down and renovated already.

Reviewed By gitehiMy room was in first floor room 17.It was very clean,had a TV fan,mosquito net and very silent. Breakfast was not sufficient though std.It seems to be a nice one night passing hotel. Not much of fancy activity.

Whether you are on holiday or business we have what you are looking for. The rooms are spacious for unrestricted movement. The development has actually been modified to suit our physically challenged guests either on wheel chairs or otherwise. We care enough to think about your mobility inside the rooms, balcony and corridors. That is why we have a wheel chair raft on the balcony. Using the walkways around the property and corridors is hustle free. The kitchen has all the basic necessities at your disposal including a refrigerator, microwave, cutlery glassware, cooking utensils and diner sets. We have developed bathrooms that are conscious about the movement of the physically challenged ensuring they are safe and spacious.
