The atmosphere in this Mexican place was on the low rent side and not nearly as appealing as many Mexican places are. However, it was at least tolerable. The food and service were not. The hard shell chicken taco I had at lunch on a February 2017 Saturday was the worst taco I can recall in recent memory. The chicken tasted warmed up/left over and nothing else in the taco tasted very good either. I ate one bite and that was it--I literally could not gag down any more. The chips and salsa were also forgettable. When I think how much better Mi Lupita or even Taco Bell is compared to here, it boggles my mind. The food I had here was terrible. And, to top off an already bad experience, the service was really, really slow even though the place did not seem that busy when we were there. Based on my single visit, I say eat almost anywhere else for a better experience.

My wife and I go to this location every three or four weeks and order the shredded beef. Today, we visited and learned they discontinued the shredded beef and replaced it with smoked brisket. What a mistake!!! The shredded beef was much much better. My wife ordered three tacos and two of them contained large chunks of fat. The taste was just not as good as the old shredded beef. We will not be returning.

This is a neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The service is quick and friendly. The food for the most part is good. Not great, but good for the price. The fajitas are always good. And, the top shelf margaritas are very good!This may sound odd, but they really need to replace the silverware. The silverware is very cheap and lightweight.

Got one bacon and one shrimp breakfast taco and enjoyed them both. Eggs cooked perfect the right amount of cheese plus bacon and shrimp. Service was great, friendly, and helpful for 830am on a Saturday.Only drawback is I wish the taco size was larger Thanks so much for the awesome review!! We love to hear how much you enjoyed your breakfast tacos!! Don't forget that our tacos are $1.50 every Tuesday!! We look forward to having you back soon!

Stopped there last night for dinner.BEWARE OF THE LARGE HOLE IN PAVEMENT AS YOU TURN INTO THE PARKING LOT TO THE LEFT OF THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING.Sat down and almost immediately server brought us chips and salsa. Large crunchy chips and salsa with lots of flavor. Asked for hot salsa and was given a bowl of hot, flavorful salsa. Mixed a small amount with the mild and got a hot spicey salsa.Our waitress returned and asked if I wanted more salsa that was hotter. By that time smoke was pouring out of my ears so I said no thanks, this is hot enough.Wife ordered number 1, taco, enchilada and beans.I ordered number 4, taco, enchilada and toasta with rice and beans.Excellent food with lots of flavor.Service was great and prices were reasonable.

The salsa is good, the food is just average. The food came out quick. The margaritas are nothing special. Our service started out great but didn't continue. It was a fairly busy night. We probably wouldn't rush back.

Top notch service on every visit. The chips/salsa are killer (ask for the extra hot), good beer selection and huge food variety of combinations. The place is always packed and with good reason. A definite neighborhood favorite with great drink specials at happy hour and very affordable meals.

Some interesting taco options - I recommend the beer battered shrimp. Burritos are very large. Service was quick and courteous. Would come back for lunch - though there are other solid options in the area too.

We stopped in here after they first opened and found it to be delicious! We have been back multiple times since then and now that you can carry food out I have been ordering and picking up to take home! They have great homemade chips and the street tacos are the BEST! All of them are good but I love the coconut shrimp street taco. We have also tried the burritos and they are delicious. The guacamole is authentic and heavy with lime...very fresh. The margaritas are a bit pricey for what you get but that would be my only complaint. The service is great and every time I have been there one of the owner's is always there and she is very nice.
