We had a large group right after Truman graduation. The place was packed with graduates. They kept up with everyone. Quick to get refills and food out. Food was great. I had a hamburger which was very good. The salad bar had everything you could imagine for a salad and was always stocked

I used to like this place about 10 years ago, but in the past few years itâs gone downhill. Each time we order out or eat in the food is consistently bad. Once the pasta with red sauce reeked of wine. Pretty sure I got buzzed off it. Another time the white sauce pasta had so much garlic it was almost unbearable to eat. Prices are high. Even though they serve the same meals at lunch and dinner, the dinner prices are $5-$8 higher. Service is always badâthey seem to only hire college students who are more interested in their phones and social lives than taking care of their customers. Sadly, Iâm out of patience for this place.

Stopped here for lunch. Was promptly greeted and seated. Our food came out quickly. Fried pickles were really good. My bacon jalapeño chicken sandwich was good. Both Dad and I agreed that the cole slaw was excellentâa lot like KFC. Dad had the salad bar and fried dark meat chicken. The chicken was undercooked, but Dad ate it anyway. I told the server that he should let the cook know for future guests. When the bill came I made him aware that dadâs entree was not listed. He said itâs their policy to remove items once they get a complaint. I thought that was good that we didnât have to ask. Thanks for the feedback, glad you both enjoyed our house made coleslaw and the fried pickles! Sorry to hear about your father's chicken. Undercooked chicken is something we really strive to prevent, and if it does occur we are happy to cook a new order. We hope to see you back again sometime!

Tradition at homecoming. Great place until they jack up the music so loud that conversation is not possible.

If you are going to have info on ANY restaurant in Kirksville, you have GOT to have Pancake City. It's an icon in this area. Draws folks for miles.
Hungry? Like a lot of food? Hereâs your place. Itâs all good food, not great food. Itâs fast, itâs hot and pretty cheap for the portion served . Omelets are very good home fries are good . Service is fast with a smile. Coffee cup stay filled. Paper napkins are pretty humble. Itâs a plain old breakfast - lunch joint. Full of locals. Clean enough. It could use a good remodel.

One busy place on holidays, Thanksgiving dinner with turkey and all the trimmings was outstanding, moist turkey, plenty of everything on the plate cooked to perfection special thanks about the stuffing excellent this year very little sage served by clean, neat friendly staff in a clean restaurant price was right at $ 11.95 a dinner. They outdid themselves again this year keep up the good work.

The food was so good! The falafel sandwich was so delicious I googled recipes to try to recreate. The Cuban sandwich was to die for and the lentil bowlâI could eat every day! I bought an extra Cuban and falafel sandwich to take for my lunch at work the next couple of days. We had chocolate peanut butter cake for dessertâanother winner! I like the concept of paying what you can. We were there to bring our daughter to Truman. Weâll be back.
