Horrible place to go for dinner. Few items on the menu, way over priced for the quality and quanity you receive. The hamburger is a joke. Wait staff is horrible. Took forever to get our drinks. Never got offered a refill had to flag down the waitress for that then she only refilled the person who asked, u had to flag her down individually. Will never go back.
My wife and I enjoyed a dinner and then returned the next morning for breakfast as we enjoyed eating at the cafe. An excellent example of a small town cafe with locals and travelers as customers. Good service both times with the food being served quickly. Decor was appealing and the restaurant clean. Not too busy either time. If in Eminence again, we would return..

I had the swiss-burger grilled to perfection and a side of hand dipped onion rings so good! My partner had the mushroom burger, once again sooo tasty. We had the porcini mushroom appetizer with horseradish dippin sauce so good! Our server was funny and fast and had lots to fill us in on about what to do in Eminence. Sit on the balcony for the best experience.

This fantastic community was quite perfect for my family reunion in Summertime Missouri because of its prime location on a premier Ozark stream. Not only is Eminence the seat of Shannon County, but this eatery adjacent to the historic courthouse also makes it a delicious way to start the day. The menu is weighted toward non-veg eaters, but veg eaters can also find items to help them follow their chosen diet. Though I am an omnivore, I could eat âlightâ (no buffet, meat-loaded entrees or dude dishes. My most favorite #1 son & his wife, both committed vegetarians, were quite satisfied with their choices. All-in-all, a very pleasing establishment which has my hearty âWheel of Approval!â

I've eaten at Ruby's many times over the course of several years. It has been consistently good, and was as expected this time. We weren't hungry enough for the very good looking fried chicken, etc., buffet, so chose a variety of sandwiches--Reuben, grilled cheese, BLT. All were gobbled quickly with a bit of lip smacking.Service was quick, smiling and efficient. We'll be back.

The lodge Creekside Grill is located at the Betty Lea Lodge at Echo Bluff State Park. This is an excellent location to access the Ozark National Scenic Riverways park. The lodge was built in 2016 and is very up-to-date. It is furnished with comfortable, nice-looking furniture and appliances. We visited in October when fewer tourists are in the area. The busy season is likely the summer when people take kayak or canoe trips down the Current River and in Ozark National Scenic Riverways. By October, kids are back in school and fewer families likely visit. The Creekside Grill has about six indoor tables and about 20 outdoor tables on the lodgeâs deck. When we visited the Creekside Grill in October, there were one or two servers waiting the tables. We did not have a long wait to order or get our food. The first night I had two thin pork chops, which were overcooked and a bit dry. I also had a cob of corn (possibly frozen, then cooked) and coleslaw. My husband had a hamburger which he enjoyed. His sweet potato fries were good. We split an average chocolate lava cake with ice cream. We could have had alcoholic beverages for dinner. However, we had previously bought beer in the lodgeâs gift shop, stored it in our room refrigerator, and had drinks on the balcony of our room. So we did not have beer or wine in the restaurant. We had good breakfasts at Creekside Grill the next day. I had eggs. My husband had the yogurt parfait (yogurt, berries, and granola). The second night we had dinner at the Creekside Grill again. We split a hamburger and a chicken quesadilla. Both were very good. We split a fresh and good side salad. We split a tasty blackberry tart for dessert. This was a good meal. The next morning we each had very good parfaits of yogurt, berries and granola. Everyone at the Creekside Grill is very friendly and helpful. We had some great conversations.
