We were traveling with our granddaughter and stopped to eat at KFC in Houston, MO. Small town with few choices and we picked the wrong one. Exhausted from the road and just wanting to eat and get to our hotel we ordered our food. While ordering, a small boy about 4 years old approached and wanted to interrupt. Looking around for his parents and seeing no one else in the store I was puzzled until the cashier told him sternly to go sit down. Then she proceeded to argue with him. We finally got our order placed and our 8 year old granddaughter went to pick a chair. She chose a tall table and I asked her to choose a lower one because Papaw's knee was hurting. She turned to come towards me and this child got between her and me and wouldn't let her pass. I made him move and he proceed to drag chairs across the restaurant and shove them into us. I was just about to go get his mother when she came from the kitchen and threatened to send him to MawMaw's if he didn't sit down. He had a corner table covered in toys. He didn't stay there long and was off bothering other guests. There just is no place in a restaurant for a small child to be on a whole shift and I think he might have been better off at MawMaw's.... I know I would have enjoyed it far more. Thumbs down to any manager that allows this to happen.

We visited Hardee’s in Houston Missouri on November the 13th 2018.Whilst visiting the pawn shops and antique outlets, we saw Hardee’s.This is the first Hardee’s I had ever seen, and first impressions were great. The place was really clean, no deserted trays of half eaten food left on any tables, all the table were clean, as was the floor and the counters. We were served by probably the politest person I ever experienced in a fast food outlet, because of her we will be back for sure.May I say well done to Courtney, whose friendliness, professionalism and kindness has placed Hardee’s firmly in our minds, and made us to decide not only to return here, but to try other branches of Hardee’s.You can always believe my reports because I use my real name and photograph.Richard Kaminski, London, England.

Miller's Grill

We were first looking for good food, then any food but chain restaurant on a Sunday evening. I was reluctant to recommend anything because my last two recommendations had bombed out miserably. Voila! There was Miller's Grill. I hadn't been there since 2012, so kept my fingers crossed as we entered. We were soon very pleased we'd not given up sooner. We were greeted promptly and pleasantly. We ordered three different dinners--a pasta dish, a big salad, a prime rib sandwich plate, and fish tacos. All were snarfed up with smiling faces. In a region of the state not generally known for haute cuisine, Miller's Grill serves up very fine fare, indeed.
