We ended up at Chris McDs because CCs across the street had almost an hour wait. It was not a disappointment! Appetizer was excellent, had a spinach dip. Had filet with Gorgonzola sauce and it was excellent. Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful.

This is a family-run business specializing in Cajun crab and shrimp and other fresh seafood. There are a variety of combinations to choose from. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Orders are at the counter and delivered to your table. The building is a former fast food place with plastic seating and noisy, but it is a fun place to eat. Go casual because peeling shrimp and cracking crab is messy.

Ordered ahead on a Friday night to minimize wait-time, but to no avail. Staff was completely overwhelmed and falling further behind by the minute, it seemed. It was my first visit so I don't know for sure, but it seemed like they were short-staffed by at least one person, if not more. Otherwise, it means that they don't know how to run an efficient "quick-service" restaurant; nothing was streamlined; service staff seemed confused. Chicken was good, didn't get to try the catfish, as our one order of catfish ended up being chicken, too. (They did tell me to check my order, and I looked, but I didn't realize I had chicken fingers, not catfish. Hard to tell the difference. sigh.) Everyone treated us with respect, but waiting 45 minutes for a call-in order is not acceptable.

Live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday!
Great Cajun spot. Had the blackened tilapia and shrimp. With sautéed vegetables. They have a good selection of craft beer on tap. The waitress was very good, service was prompt and the food was served hot and the presentation was very appealing. They had a live band and it was not overly noisy. Great experience and I would come back again.
