I eat there about 4 times a month. I have Beef or onion and bean enchilada with 1/2 Queso Dip (yellow) with the warm chips. Its not fancy but I love this place always fast service and a friendly smile. Parking sometimes is a problem especially on the weekends they are so busy. Great prices. I have tried the other meals but I always end up taking some home. So it for me is just right to order the one item dish.

I had the misfortune of visiting this restaurant for the first time on the first Wednesday of the month. Apparently, this is the day guests are "treated" to live music and the country western musician playing is apparently a staple there. The music was way too loud, making it difficult to carry on a conversation with my husband. With the vibrant Hispanic community in Kansas City, why would this restaurant not take advantage of that and book music more in keeping with the food they serve? You would have to be a huge country music fan to enjoy this act with your burrito. As for the burritos, they were good. The Azteca Dip was even better. I was not a fan of the refried beans which were watery. The Mexican rice was not distinctive. Perhaps the biggest disappointment, music aside, was the salsa that was served with the complimentary chips. It had no kick whatsoever and I am not one to like particularly spicy dishes, so that's saying a lot. I would suggest to the owners to at least offer a hotter salsa as an option. Your chips deserve better!

We enjoyed our meal at Abueloâs, even though the restaurant was fairly cool. The food was quite good, although a bit pricey (but maybe not bad for this neighborhood). The server did well. The salsa in the three small containers was a bit inconvenient.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
Not the best dinner. We are used to soup bring brought out first to eat before main course. At this place they bring everything out at once. We did not accept the tacos. The same looking plates were brought out 5 - 10 minutes later, super hot (microwave) and super soggy (fall apart and not edible). Reported to waitress who returned with a full bill, nothing discounted. We're disappointed to hear that your meal wasn't delivered properly and failed to correct the situation at the time. We'd like to make this right with you. Can you reach out to us at [email protected]?
