We stopped in for breakfast today and it did not disappoint. The food was made to order and excellent. The pancake was as big as my husband's head and so light and fluffy. My husband wasn't able to finish his deluxe breakfast and that is saying something! We checked out the baked goods case and opted to bring home two different kinda of brownies. Can't wait to try them tonight. The service was prompt and friendly! A must visit on the west side of the lake.

While the lunch fare is just average, the lake side dining terrace is great. Brunch ramps it up a notch - their breakfasts are delicious, with lots of variety. Expect a crowd tho for brunch.

Arrive early on weekends. My husband and I were there on a Sunday morning around 8:30 and didn't have to wait, but the line started to form around 9. This is your basic Midwest hometown cafe. You'll get generous portions and your coffee refilled before you need to ask. However, the waitstaff may try to rush you a bit if there is a line. Our waitress grabbed my plate before I was finished eating.
