Great BBQ, Great Price, Great Service! I was in town on business and one of my colleagues suggested Dexter BBQ. We all ordered different menu items and we were all pleased. great selection and really good sized portions! Highly recommend!

Dined here with my kids for the first time in years. Was disappointed with the way the food and service was. The pink lemonade wasn't the way they used to make them when Jewel owned the place. Burger was good. The vegetable sticks were tasteless. The menu has shrunk considerably also.
I'm looking across the review sites and this place actually gets good reviews so maybe they had a very off night.... I phoned in a carry out for a rib plate with beans and a baked potato which was ready in 5 minutes. I arrived around 7 PM. I got there and yep it was ready and the counter person was nice , and included plasticware so from a carry out service perspective everything went well.I got this meal back to my hotel about 2 minutes away and opened it up.The ribs were probably a 9 out of 10 IF 10 is the worst ribs you could create. Maybe it's just best to tell the person calling in an order, "Hey bud , we're all out of ribs for tonight "instead of risking a review like this for basically wasting a customer's 12 bucks.I'm just not sure what went wrong, they were dry and seemed like they'd been sitting around for a while, you had to scrape off the bark and use the sauce just to salvage any of the meat. Simply put not a good effort. I don't know what went wrong but even the sides sucked, the potato had been sitting around a while and was a qualified "nasty", the beans (I guess some form of canned weren't horrible but if you add some of the bbq sauce it made them a bit better and you could even then call them homemade). The roll was probably the most palatable part of the meal from US,Sysco,GFS or someplace else .... Sorry , but if this is the best ribs the bluffs can offer? Turn this place into a pizza joint.
