On suggestion from a friend, we opted to try something than our usual haunts...BOY are we glad we did!While Italian is not our typical cuisine faire, we were in the mood to be adventurous and agreed on Italian. And, that meant, A'mis! We worried slightly as we were one of 3 tables to be seated, but that was because we had been lucky and unknowingly BEAT THE RUSH. Nearly full house when we left and customers were still arriving. Popular Joint MAY be a understatement. We tried their Chicago style pizza...OMG! Punch me, Chicago has to be closer than we thought. Best Chi-town Deep dish this side of Chicago. Homemade dough, sauce, and delicious fresh ingredients. Large salad was fresh, crisp, and their house creamy Italian is awesome. Don't expect smooth texture, think more fresh minced garlic texture mixed in well, but lordy mercy was it delicious. We understand why people buy just it by the container full!! Dinner rolls were fresh made (their homemade dough) and we even sampled a slice of their toasted garlic-cheese bread...bread fans should appreciate.Service was on point. And the nice extra touches they provided when boxing up part of the salad and pizza to-go was unexpected and definite appreciated. Looking forward to touring their menu.

We've been going here for years. Pizza is so subjective. If you like Saint Louis style, this is in my opinion the best in the metro area. The dining room is modestly sized so if it's busy you may need to wait. Roomy, no tables squished together. Service is good (not perfect). Toasted ravioli is very good although the last time a little over cooked. If it's thin crust pizza you like, you need to try Saullos.

I ate here while in town for business. Excellent place to go for a quick meal made with fresh ingredients. I ordered a grinder and enjoyed it. The service was great and the staff friendly. I noticed everyone around me finished their plates. That's a good sign. Eat here!

We were on vacation and craving pizza, so we stopped here. Interior needs updating. Has carpet for the dining room floor (I can only imagine what is in that carpet!). Service was lacking, we were ignored while waitstaff congregated in the back. Pizza was different. Not bad, not good, just different. Maybe an acquired taste, but we did eat it all. Strangely enough there wasnât a lot of variety on the pizza menu, and no substitutions are allowed. All in All, weâd probably hunt for a different pizza place next time.

Fratellis's has it all--delicious Italian food, experienced and attentive wait staff and a family-friendly environment. I especially like the fact that guests can converse without music or TV's blaring. There are enough soft surfaces, too, that sounds are absorbed rather than reverberating. Within the last two years, the owners updated the decor which is contemporary in a classy way.

Two of us went to Pio's for dinner on Saturday. We had no reservation (recommended), & waited 30 minutes for a table. Once we ordered, our food arrived very quickly. Thin crust pizza very good, & we highly recommend the onion rings. Could not ask for better service. It appears to be family owned, & they take pride in serving their patrons!

When we first saw the sign, we were really expecting more of a Baker's Square kind of deal. When we discovered that it was "yet another pizza place," we were sorely disappointed. BUT, during our last night stay at the Drury Hotel (which is right next door, literally), we thought, why not?It's NOT your usual pizza place. Not by a long shot. Cauliflower crust? Being able to choose sauce and additional toppings AFTER the pizza is cooked? Plus, they have an assortment of decent sounding salads, far beyond the usual normal fare of iceberg and tomatoes. Every pizza is the same size, 11 1/2 inches, but that was fine for us. And they were quick! With so many positives, it was hard to fault them for NOT having unsweetened tea. But you know what? We worked around that. Don't let something like that stop you.High recommend, even without real pie.

We were in St. Louis for a youth soccer game with the family. The hankering was for a good pizza and we searched for locations close to our Country Inn and Suites hotel. Dewey's was close and had gotten good reviews. Family gave thumbs up to go find it. When we arrived, the place was hopping. Which is always a good sign. We put in our name and were told it would be about a 15 minute wait and they would text us when the table was ready. Perfect! I had enough time to walk to a neighboring gas station and pick up some Rolaids. Once seated, the selection of specialty pizzas was fun. We ordered a larger pizza that was half Bronx Bomber and half Green Lantern. (Bomber had sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, onions, olives, etc and the Green Lantern had pesto, artichokes, goat cheese, etc). They were both absolutely superb. The crust was firm, but chewy and delicious. The kids, who are crust avoiders typically, ate everything. Service was attentive and fun. Other patrons seemed and looked satisfied. Overall, we felt we made a great choice and ranks in our top pizza ever list. Thank you Dewey's.
