I wanted to come back and review Neighborhood again because we had received bad service on our last visit and they seem to have corrected the problems that led to our bad service. On our weeknight visit over the summer (July), the staff was very young and there seemed to be a lack of leadership in pushing out food and keeping things moving the way a restaurant should. In my review I reported that the food was great but that the staff issues in the evening would likely result in me only eating there for lunch (when the owner is there and we have never had a problem). Between July and September they seem to have addressed the staffing issues in the kitchen and added a leadership position that made everything move much more smoothly on our recent evening visit. I have always loved the food at Neighborhood and I am glad the evening staff are focused again.

The Hill offers an all-you-can-eat market style dining and a la carte items. The food we serve here expresses our love for both traditional and modern Italian cuisine and is inspired by The Hill neighborhood in St. Louis, Missouri.
I've never been to an Italian buffet so hubby and I finally happened to be in town around lunch time and tried this place out. I loved the food available and was able to try things I would never order normally off a menu. Staff was friendly and attentive. The only negative is that the seating along the back wall is kind of awkward so maybe try to avoid that area if you are able.

We moved to Springfield, Mo, two years ago. We thought we would miss places Like Tony's on Market in St. Louis, however, we recently discovered Nicola's Ristorante. It is our favorite kind of restaurant, dark, quiet, romantic, starched white tablecloths. soft background music, good wine list, great ambience and to top it off, fantastic food. We've now been there twice, both times were very special. The prices aren't cheap, but, in my opinion, reasonable for fine dining!A fantastic place for special occasions. I would highly recommend it!

The place is filthy!! Broken air return vent with nasty filth, ceiling pipes are black with filth, bathrooms have mold under the rim of the sinks and the baby changing table was so dirty, I would not put my dog on there much less my baby. Floor board and front if the kitchen area scuffed and dirty too.Food and service ok, except for the servers playing catch in the back kitchen in view if the patrons. If the things we can see our that dirty, what do the areas we can't see look like?. We have been going there for years but time to find a new place that is clean.

Casual fine dining, specialized in homemade pizza, pasta, fresh fish and seafood, homemade desserts
Bruno's is expensive, but the food is soooo good. If you want a real calzone or a real meatball this is the place to go. Olive Garden and Zio's taste like a joke compared to this place. You can tell they order the freshest ingredients they can for bringing real Italian to Springfield. It's elegant and has great service with a fun atmosphere. I would reccomend doing a reservation if you can. The ravioli is great too! If you like Bambinos, this place will shock you on how much better it is!Thank you very much for your review, we are glad that we can please customers like you

Restaurant in a strip mall, easy to find and plenty of parking. Nice menu with a lot of choices; had a couple of specials. Good wine list. Very nice inside; had an excellent server. Molten lava cake was over the top good!

I was there for dinner with a large group. The service was outstanding, the room was spacious, but the food was a disappointment. The chicken parm was tasteless with a soggy crust and overmelted cheese. The pasta was undercooked and chewy. The molten cake was delicious. Others raved about the tortellini so maybe the chicken parm was my bad luck.

Great Food. Great Service. Your Neighborhood. Bambinos Cafe is proud of our reputation as one the best restaurants in town. There's a lot of great restaurants in Springfield MO and so we were honored to be selected by as The Best Italian Food, Best Place
We usually stop and eat dinner here when passing through. Located in a neighborhood residential area and most definitely off the beaten path. A very small Italian style place with locals and university students. Atmosphere is definitely casual and at first look a dump. There is a small outside patio. But place was clean and service friendly. In fact our waitress Morgan was extra helpful. Menu items were mostly pasta and pizza. I had the Dianne creamy Pasta with Broccoli and Shrimp, My Spouse had the Greek Pasta. We got the small portions and still had plenty to eat. When busy parking could be a problem as on street parking is for resident with permits. There is a small parking lot on the side and in back.

I grew up going to get pizza at places like Pizza House...fun, loud, family friendly pizza! Pizza House is a local favorite which we discovered on trips to Springfield where our daughter attends college. The service is quick and the pizza is delicious. No frills but there is always a line because it is a great place to have pizza!

Three of us had lunch here on Saturday. We had the chicken white pizza, meat lover pizza and cranberry, walnut salad. Everything was delicious! The small salad was perfect for two of us to share along with our pizzas. The pizza and salad were loaded with toppings and cooked perfectly. Service was spot on from ordering to refills we felt that we had terrific service. They have a great selection of beers on tap. The only thing that would improve this location is a deep cleaning and painting to make it feel fresher.
