Stopped in on the suggestion of a friend for the fried chicken on Tuesdays. 20 min. To cook, worth the wait, started with the Salad bar. The chicken was amazing. Coating was well seasoned. Not overly Crisp. Chicken itself was moist. Mashed potatoes with the white gravy as delicious. We've been here for the burgers in the bar area, they wer good. Daily specials is a nice change of pace to,add to regular menu. Don't pass up the fried chicken here.

Spouse and I celebrated our 57th anniversary here last week. Staff was wonderfully accomodating since we were a few minutes early for dinner. Terrific view of the lake from several tables. Service was above reproach, staff was very attentive, catering to our every wish. My salmon was outstanding, spouse thought her marsala was a little dark but still very good - excellent wine. We were too full for desert. Love Ruthie D's, we'll be back.

H. Toadâs Bar & Grill is a casual fun place where you will usually find live entertainment on the indoor stage and always a wide variety of food choices. If youâre looking for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, either by boat or by car, this waterfront hot spot
We were here three different times throughout Bikefest weekend. We watched two different bands, as well as having supper in the dining room. Our food in the dining room was good. The drinks outside while watching the band could have been stronger (or cheaper), but I guess you are paying extra for being right on the water and for the bands they bring in. We will be back, it's a great atmosphere.

Stopped here a couple of times as was staying near at a friends cabin. Servers where polite and friendly. Food on several occasions was really nice and full of flavour especially the smoked meats. Breaded chicken was lovely and fresh with huge pieces. The fries that come with the meals are lovely. Several TVs with American sports on show, nice big bar area with a shuffleboard which was great fun. Nice bit of outside seating with a tv if you want a quite chilled outside. Will come back again.

Lake of the Ozarks premier water front dining. Come enjoy a drink in the over 21 pool followed by lunch or dinner along the water.
The menu is very limited. There were five of us. We all ordered something diffrent. Not one meal was good. It is way over priced. The chicken seemed to be precooked, frozen breast warmed in the microwave. The green beans had no seasoning. Very bland. The mashed potatoes were okay. The meatloaf was awful. It didn't seem to be freshly cooked. The cajun pasta is not spicey at all and the chicken in it was not edible. The steak was rare instead of medium and not much flavor. I recommend going somewhere else. Dont waste your money.

All these bar have plenty of slips. They put some tables together for our group of 12. Hlf our group did the Minnow Shooters. Fun times. Servers started out a little slow but picked it up when the drinking picked up. Ordered a variety of food. All good bar food and apps like any other place.

It's been a LONG time since I ate at Chances R. As I recall I wasn't overly impressed. My wife and I decided to give it another try and I was pleased. Probably the best burger I've had at a diner in years.

Coconuts is undoubtedly popular with the party crowd that comes to the Lake. And itâs always packed on summer weekends. But the food is fair and expensive, they donât offer ice water with meals and they keep adding additional charges (parking, admission, use of kids pool, etc.). And count on the crowd to be rowdy and loud. If thatâs your thing, this is your kind of place.
