There were 4 of us and we all ordered something different. My garlic shrimp was wonderful. The server was very patient dealing with us picky eaters. 3 of us omitted certain vegetables and substituted others. All orders came out correct, albeit at different times. Serving sizes were generous and I ate every bite of mine and some of my daughters which was a chicken dish. My granddaughter had an orange chicken/shrimp dish which she devoured. The menus could use a cleaning.

New favourite lunch place in St.Louis.The service was very professional , attentive and friendly. The food..... oh my.... I got the Khao Soi and the steamed buns, absolutely superb! Also got some kim chi... in house made, it was very good.Iâll be back for sure. 50 bucks for my wife and I and a bowl of noodles for our 3 year old. Well spent.
I went here in the recommendation of a friend. It blends into a small strip mall along Manchester Road and I have driven by this restaurant without noticing it. They are open for lunch, close for an hour or two and then reopen for dinner. The restaurant only has 5 tables. When I went I was the only person in the restaurant but quickly all 5 tables were filled. They do a great carry out business. I went with the Hot Braised Chicken lunch special. It came with hot and sour soup which was really good. The soup was thick with a nice flavor. The entree was spiced nicely with chives, and other vegetables in the sauce. The entree came with one ceab rangoon and one mini egg roll. I normally do not like egg rolls, but this one I really liked. I highly recommend China In Bombay and I will be back.

Out of all the chinese places that deliver in the area, this one is my favorite. Love the crab rangoon and the menu selection. Prices are good and delivery is timely .

Where to eat Japanese food in Ballwin: The Best Restaurants and Bars

We are pretty fussy with our Chinese-Japanese-Korean food. This restaurant has excellent service and above average buffet food. Their sushi was very good quality without piling to much rice with it. They have a nice Hibachi grill to cook your order to your liking. Standard fare for basic Asian choices but for me, the hot and sour soup stood out. The seafood was nice with smaller amount and more frequent refills, leading me to feel it's more freshly cooked. It was fairly busy for the two times I've been here but the staff handles the crowd efficiently, politely and unobtrusively. The floors are kept clean and the bathrooms are very clean. We go to many Asian restaurants and it reflects well when the restrooms are cleaned often. As I have written many times, a dirty restroom in the public makes me very concerned about how the kitchen behind the kitchen doors are! So kudos Hibachi Grill. We will be here for several months so I'm happy to have found a nice buffet.

First they have very nicely decorated tables. I did find their water glasses, very, very tall wine glasses, somewhat weird. They do not serve alcohol which is a little strange to me, especially as most food services count on drinks, alcoholic and otherwise, as a big contributor to their bottom line. I did notice some diners that carried in cans of beer. We ordered an appetizer of springs rolls. We sat there a long while and they did not come out. When asked the waiter said they had a big to go order that was holding them up. Our entrees came, and I canceled the spring rolls. The food was not bad, but it definitely was not anything to write home to Mother about.Menu selections are limited and somewhat sketchy. Service was not bad, except they have a hard time bringing all of a tables orders out at the same time. This is a bad practice in a restaurant. They did it to us. I also noticed that the table next to us the lady had her order at least five minutes before her companion's meal came out. This leaves the dilemma of letting your food get cold or eating before your companion can. And then generally someone is finished much in front of the other. The wife and I decided next time we had the hankering for Vietnamese food we would make the drive to Pho Grand.

We have been to Monsoon before, and have been impressed. This visit was prompted by our sonâs Human geography class⦠extra credit for visiting cultural sites. That weekâs theme was based around Vietnam, and the teacher and students had discussed some fine Vietnamese restaurants in St. Louis.Given time and other factors, our son asked about dining at Monsoon. Weâre all happy we did.Appetizers:- Crepe Xeo - chicken and other yummy flavors on an amazon crepe- Mama Qs dumplings - great sauce and dumplings⦠clean plate afterBoth were eaten quickly! For dinner, - the kids ordered and enjoyed the shaking beef, which included home made fries and a wonderful lime juice dipping sauce- my wife and I had curry chickenWe all loved each dish, and shared.â¨Our son asked about the chef ownerâs influences. He shared that he had another career before the restaurant, and that he does think there are French influences in his familyâs cooking that influence his⦠and we can confirm that he is a great cook.We look forward to returning soon!

I had been to this restaurant several times over the last 10 years, but not recently, as other Thai restaurants opened other convenient locations. My loss. On one of the busiest restaurant nights of the year, this establishment got a big, involved order for 6 people exactly right, on-time, and with pleasantness and appreciation. And did I mention delicious and somewhat more reasonably priced than one or two others? Seriously, it was a pleasure to go in and not feel the kitchen was about to explode, as is the vibe I've experienced picking up orders at other places on New Years. No excuses, no looks like, "We'll, what did you expect?" Just great food, carefully checked and packed, and a New Year hug from the lady owner to a female customer for good luck.

This place is more crowded than ever now due to recent positive publicity in the St. Louis paper and the publicity is warranted. The sushi and other items remain truly outstanding. The gyoza fried dumpling appetizer is simply delicious. The California roll is also the best I've had and that includes places in Hawaii. The spicy version of the California roll with spicy crab is equally amazing and is really spicy. So, food quality is five stars and service is equally worthy. Tried chutoro for the first time, a slightly less fatty version of Otoro (fatty tuna) and it was totally worth the $7, simply amazingly delicious. Notwithstanding all this excellence, my wife and I were able to have the Chutoro, the gyoza appetizer, the 2 crab rolls and a large beer for $45 before tip which considering the quality, is fabulous value. You really do need to make reservations now because the place was absolutely packed as early as 5:30 on a Friday and last Saturday we were turned away because we had no reservation. Best sushi I've had in St. Louis bar none although I am still willing to try other places. The atmosphere is pleasant and Japanese although not plush. I'd rather it not be plush so they can keep their prices where they are. Amazing place. If you like sushi and sashimi, this is your place.
