Mikeâs BBQ House is a throwback to the BBQ joints of the past with an inviting atmosphere and down-home charm.
We were traveling through on a road trip west and came in for a late lunch- the reviews and the website-menu looked good so we thought to give it a try. Wow, were we satisfied! Bea (sorry if I got your name wrong ;-)) and Mike welcomed us and explained what was available (almost everything) and good (everything!). We chose BBQ Specials: pulled pork and the rib tips (they come with 2 sides). They were both delicious and had a great choice of sides - we had beans(exceptionally good!), sweet potatoes(soft and not too sweet which we like), cole slaw (perfect balance of sour/sweet and creaminess), & fried okra. We got 3 ribs to go that were dry rubbed and delicious (nice and moist in the inside, good smoke taste to it and a bit of crust on the outside, and fell off the bone). Try their lemon pie! - kinda like a key lime pie but lighter and creamier and lemon of course. You can eat in or takeout. Great folks doing the best BBQ!WOW! We can't begin to tell you how nice it is to hear words of encouragement appreciation and praise. Normatea, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to review our restaurant. Reading your review was of great encouragement to me personally reminding me why we do what we do. Weâre so glad you enjoyed our ribs and signature side dishes. Thank you once again for giving us a pat on the back. We value your patronage and friendship. Pllease visit us again. It will be our honor and delight to serve you.

While travelling through Tupelo, we found this place about 3 miles east of the Natchez Trace at Route 6. Small seating area, with mostly carry-out. I ordered the rib plate and my wife ordered the pork tenderloin plate. List of sides is large, but both of us got the potato salad and fried green tomatoes. The plates were delivered to us quickly; the potato salad was very creamy, but flavored nicely. The fried green tomatoes were cut thick, with a nicely spiced breading. The pork tenderloin was very tender, moist, and flavorful. And almost more than my spouse could eat. The ribs were some of the best I've ever had. I received 4 bones, with a nice dry rub and came with NO sauce! (which is great - I'd rather put the type and amount on myself, if I want sauce). The meat was thick and very tender - and not falling off the bone. You could bite into it and not have the entire strip of meat come off the bone - the way a rib should be. Overall, this was very enjoyable. We travel up and down the Trace several times a year, and we will definitely stop next time were near Tupelo.

Not made to order but severed from a hot bar. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. Scrambled eggs, omelets, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, bacon, cinnamon rolls, and biscuit sandwiches. Super quick and easy and not expensive at all. Great for our family of 4. Worth the extra few miles off the interstate. Super impressed with the growler and beer selection too. Nicest gas station I've seen in the Mid South area. We will be back whenever we travel!

We Deliver Local Favorite Restaurant Meals to Your Door. Online ordering available as well as ordering via our free Tupelo 2 Go app found in both Iphone and Android app stores.
The service is excellent, fast, and economical. Thank goodness for something delivered besides pizza! I get online with their site, pick a restaurant, and order. I can even put the tip on the order when I put in my card info. They kept my delivery information from the first time, and ordering is really easy. They send a message to let you know the status of your order, and the status is updated as soon as something changes. For instance, "your order has been received", "the driver, (name), is at the restaurant to pick up your order", the driver, (name), is on the way with your order", etc. You always know the status of your order. Last time we ordered, the wait was estimated to be about 45 minutes, but we had it in about 25 minutes. These people are great!

All of our meat is smoked on a REAL smoker that was hand built by my dad. We're cooking with charcoal, hickory and pecan, fresh every day, with house made rubs and sauces. You better bring an extra shirt, because you WILL be covered in BBQ sauce, rib juic
CHOPs is one of those diamonds in a rough type restaurant. It doesn't look fancy and it serves a multi purpose. I'm 2 dates away from trying everything on the menu. The BBQ Potato has to be the best seller and I bet you cant finish it. I recently tried the Brisket Street Tacos and they were great for a lighter meal. I hope CHOP keeps growing and eventually can maybe expand their building. I can't say anything negative about the food. If I had to be a true critic I'd say the sides don't stand out. But we come for the BBQ. Press on Clay.

I was disappointed with our visit this weekend. I feel the service and quality of the food has gone downhill. Our waitress seemed disinterested. Restaurant seemed a bit dirty. One person in our party loved their hamburger, and another liked their pulled pork plate. I was very unhappy with my brisket sandwich. It was tough and fatty. I ordered spicy fries, expecting spicy. They were not. Another in party ordered the pull pork nachos and was also disappointed with them. I have raved about this place in the past, but can not this time

This place was recommended by the locals. Generous portions with reasonable prices. Pulled pork, potato salad, brisket and ribs. I had a pulled pork sandwich on my first night there, it was packed with lots of meat. Also had potato salad and fries. There was so much given I could not eat it all. This place also has homemade banana pudding which was also an excellent choice. Highly recommend this place when in the Tupelo area.
