It's been over a year since I visited a Captain D's. I was very impressed. I decided to dine in. Ms. Jasmine took my order, she was very pleasant. The manager on duty was present and motivating his employees. My food was cooked to order!!!! Next time I'm in town I will for sure stop by. Keep up the amazing customer service

Our menu encompasses a great variety of original seafood and local favorites. Ranging from shrimp, fish, crab claws, and crawfish, we also provide po-boys, chicken, and sandwiches for land lovers. Don't forget about our specialty Roasted Red Pepper Bama S
I got the Shrimp and Oyster basket while she got the Shrimp basket. The Shrimp was good but the oysters were terrible. They were what appeared to be frozen prebreaded and you could barely taste them. The Cole slaw would have been fine without the tiny boiled shrimp. The service was excellent. This would gave been a 4 star review without the oysters. They arent with ordering. We are disappointed to learn that our location did not provide the delicious food expected of our restaurants! Thank you for letting us know of your recent experience with us, so we can work to improve our restaurant. We hope that you will give us a second chance to impress you.

After a 7+ hour drive to town for a funeral, we wanted to try something different. Glad we did. It was cool enough to sit on the patio which appears to be the main dinning area. Well planned and well built patio. Nice New Orleans feel. HugeFans and nice evening lighting. WeHit happy hour. Drinks are doubles. We spilt a dinner and thoroughly enjoyed our transition from the long drive. Great friendly server.
First time I ordered take out. The boiled shrimp were mushy. The grilled oysters were almost tasteless. The fried shrimp and fried oysters were better but I can get better at half the price. The next time I ate in. I had the fried shrimp and oysters again. Again they were alright but pricey for what I got. The gumbo was too spicy hot and overcooked. I could not eat it. The waiter was fun but he did not serve all of us at the same time. He also got the orders wrong. One lady got her fried potatoes served with her salad. The potatoes were cold when he finally served her salmon. One other lady's peas were on the plate with the salmon. The server blamed the kitchen. I do not need to go back there.

How this place has only 4 reviews so far is a mystery?!?! This is our 2nd time eating here and it is just as great as previous! The shrimp poboy is very overstuffed and one can get full just eating the excess shrimp before even starting on the sandwich part! The roast beef is tender and flavorful! Employees are extremely friendly and tell owner is the one who takes customer orders. Try this place out and you'll be back!!! We certainly will!!

Things I've never had at The Catfish Wagon: greasy food, soggy food, cold food, tasteless food, poor service, sticker shock. It's family owned and operated and caters to families-lots of them-it's a big place and can pack in a crowd without sacrificing quality and service. Traditionally rustic decor, classic catfish house menu. Our out-of-state friends love to go here and get the true Mississippi catfish house experience. They feature the whole fish or the fillets, but you can get a nice big plate of shrimp or oysters, and a good burger or hamburger steak with gravy. A meal comes with outstanding coleslaw, hush puppies, fries or a baked potato. No alcohol...have the iced tea, sweet or not, both are good-not that wimpy watery stuff. The fried food is always hot and crispy, never greasy. My favorites are the catfish fillets and the fried shrimp and I've been known to take a pint of coleslaw home. You might have to wait for a table on a really busy night or on Sunday after church, but never very long, and once you get seated it moves quickly...tea and coleslaw right away with piping hot food to follow. I'm pretty sure they offer dessert, but I'm always too full for that to be an option. Never had a bad experience, and I've been here many, many times.

We always stop here when travel this way and have never been disappointed. The food is delicious, portions are large, service is great, and prices are not cheap but reasonable for the value received. We started with fried crab claws which were plump and delicious. Todayâs special was grilled mahi mahi for me and a cheeseburger for the wife. I love their salads and the mahi was perfectly cooked. The cheese burger was accompanied by grilled onions and fried onions on a wonderful homemade bun. We barely had room for the white chocolate bread pudding. But we did and it was delicious. Never had a bad meal here!!
