Great food, great service, great experience I had the shrimp and tomato app, and Steak with mushrooms . The app was unbelievable, can't wait to go back! Went to Tico's with family (they reside in Brandon) and had a great steak with excellent service.Andre's in Naples, Bern's in Tampa and the Palm in Charlotte are three of my favorite steak houses and, now, Tico's in Ridgeway is added to the list.The 15 - 18 oz. NY strip was cooked perfectly (rare / med. rare) and was served on a sizzling hot platter. It was juicy and very, very tasty -- thicker than I expected, which added to the proper cooking. We had au gratin potatoes and onion rings as sides -- both of which were excellent. My brother had the pork chop and is wife had the shrimp scampi -- both of which they raved about!

After hearing about and talking to people about this place, my friends and I decided to go. Mind you, one of my friends has been taking clients there, but itâs been because the clients want to âbe impressedâ.Lots of patrons, but the front door staff is unorganized. We 4 slipped in and were seated by some guy in a t-shirt.....The crawfish tails were really good and the marinated crab claws were good; bread was available.The server was not aware of what was available so ordering was delayed. The salads came and the dressings were good.The bone-in filets came with the sides. The filets were cold. My friend actually asked why my filet had NO juices showing and the server said that was because I ordered artichokes heart as my topping.I have never seen a medium rare filet served DRY! It was pink and it was red in the center and just as dry as a paper towel!!The creamed spinach was cold and was microwaved spinach with cheese melted on top; inedible! The ai gratin type potatoes were the same- potatoes in a dish with cheese melted on top....patheticIn no way is this acceptable; let alone at $100.00 plus per plate! NO WAY!

We went to Shapleyâs tonight for the first time in several years. It was great. The tamales were as good as I remembered the crawfish tails were great as was the reddish. Service was great. Our server Mallory was on top of everything and the pace of the meal was great. Glad to see the Shapley family back running this restaurant.

Their hibachi is very good. Not as good as cooked in front of you, but you can't beat the convenience. A take out order rarely takes longer than 10 minutes to be ready. They are super efficient.

I waited 20 minutes to place my order. I got my salad before I got my water and glass of wine. 15 minutes. About 40 minuted latter I got my steak and asked for more water and another glass of wine. While the waiter was gone, I cut my steak and it was well done. I ordered MR. I wait another 15 minutes for him to come back with my water and wine. I told him my steak was WD not MR. He said he would have them recook it. I told him no. I had already been there 1:15 and I was ready to go. The manager came over and told me they were recooking my steak. I explain that I want to pay for the wine and salad and go. He walked off. I just set there waiting. ( I thought about walking out, but didn't want them to try and get me arrested.). 30 minutes later the waiter brought me a steak. I told him to bring me my check. The manager came over and said I would have to pay for the steak. I told in not very kind words, that I did care and what I was going to do to him if he didn't let me pay and leave. He walked off. I added the what I thought the check should be, threw the money on the table and left. I should have done earlier. I was so mad I was thinking about getting a lawyer. I am finishing this review months latter. It took me a while to work that one out of my system.
