Whistle Stop is located right next to the railroad tracks in the center of Wiggins, MS. Itâs a favorite of the locals serving up fresh southern fried catfish, oysters and shrimp. Their steaks are tender and delicious. My favorite is the fish and shrimp basket served in a bed of fries and a side of sweet coleslaw. Be sure to ask for the slightly spicy whistle stop sauce. Itâs the perfect compliment!

I was in the area for business and Sawmill was highly recommended--they lived up to the commendations.The staff was friendly, the buffet selection was great, the food was delicious, the price was reasonable and the atmosphere was wonderful. Will definitely eat there when I'm in the area.

Wiggins Mississippi is a town I vacation in for one week a year. The food selections in town are sparse... just trying to be generous. Doesnât seem to be important to be really good.McAlisters makes a perfectly fair sandwich with a gouppy soup as a side. The chicken salad Is ultra sweet and not to nice. Club sandwich is ok, but lacking in any bacon influence.Service is attentive and friendly. Clean atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable. Better than the alternative, if that is any king of recommendation.

This restaurant has excellent steaks and catfish. The steaks are always tender and delicious. The fried catfish is great and there are several other catfish recipes that are also delicious along with boiled and fried shrimp and other delicious menu items. This is the best restaurant in the area. It is relatively new and is nicely decorated and very well run. The staff is very friendly, attentive and professional. People come from miles around to eat here. I live in a town 30 miles away and every time I eat there I see other people from our town as well as from all over the surrounding area. They have rapidly developed a reputation for delicious food and great service. Highly recommended.
