Oyster poboys are just what you need! Their handmade dressings and sauces were well made. Food arrived quickly, hot and fresh. My wife had grilled shrimp. Both in presentation and flavor of the shrimp was hands-down the best in Clinton. The waitstaff was very friendly. Will definitely be visiting a lot more frequently in the future.

Shrimp plate with potatoes, corn and sausage! Cooked to order and the wait is very short. I always try to stop here when Iâm in town. But they are not consistent with closing times. I really wish they would keep it professional and stick to the posted business hours.Thank you for your review! Our hours are always the same, but we will close early if we sell out. We ducked into Captain D's on a cold, dreary evening last winter and the staff immediately made us feel warm and welcome. We've made Captain D's a regular stop for good food served fast. It's always clean and the staff are always friendly. If every Captain D's were run like this one in Clinton, Captain D's would be the largest franchise on earth.
