Gyoza no Osho is a large chain of Chinese restaurants in Japan. Food is good and very reasonably priced. The Toyonaka restaurant is located next to the expressway. Large parking. On arrival, you need to take a number using the touch-screen panel, where you put in the number of people in your group, along with your choice of the type of seat - table or counter. It's all in Japanese, but the staff will be happy to help and key in the details for you. They will then call out your number and show you to your seat. Although very crowded every time I went there, the service is very efficient and quick. Food is the same as in other Oshos all around Japan. Their gyoza is the best I've ever had. They also sell uncooked gyoza which you can buy at the cash counter and take home to enjoy.

551 is famous for its dumplings for take out. But here at Osaka airport you can also eat-in. The set menus for lunch are about $12. Since everything is generally expensive at airport, this price is fairly acceptable, although the dining room is not spacious and crowded.

豊中の人気の洋菓子店に初めて行きました。思ったよりもたくさんの種類の洋菓子がありましたね。シュークリームをいただきましたが、クリームはねっとりたっぷりでおいしかったです。

Welcome to Otowa Sansou. Nestled within the tranquil maple forest of Mino Quasi-National Park, Otowa Sansou offers a nostalgic glimpse into the past, a time when traditional values permeated the very essence of hospitality provided to the weary, hungry guest. Harmoniously witnessing the rhythmic change and natural beauty of four distinct seasons, our ryokan has been standing amongst the maples for 87 years, from the 15th year of the Taisho Era. Here, at Otowa Sansou, we specialize in short term stays with an emphasis on the totality of the experience. Communication and service are infused with old-time sensibilities that are reflected in the exquisite kaiseki cuisine and traditional ryokan facilities.
I dined as part of the large group and this was the culinary highlight of my trip. I lost count of how many courses we were served in a exquisite degustation menu. A real variety of foods on offer and the opportunity to cook some of it ourselves with shabu shabu. I noitced while i was here you could also stay here. Yes please. Next time!

First, there is free parking but it is in a designated parking lot the next block over.
Be prepared to wait, especially during lunch. Non smoking but the smoking area is right in front of the door so you need to walk through a wall of waiting smokers.
Not a huge restaurant, only two larger tables that can fit more than 4 peoples. Most are two seater tables.
They ask you to order your meal while you wait for your seat so that food will arrive quickly when you finally get your table.
Now, for the food. Pork cutlets were pretty good. Crispy crust on the outside, fried - how can things go wrong? Bottomless rice, cabbage salad and tea, you cannot leave the place hungry. Friends ordered the fried oysters, they were not impressed so stick with their speciality which is their pork cutlets.
One side note, they have a traditional squat toilet. I don't do squat toilets so this may be an issue for some folks who are not used to such facilities.
