The Old Barn is where to go to get off grid, especially if you have ATT. Without a satellite, there is no TV coverage. The major problem is the grass sites which for the most part are very unlevel. The park is more travel trailer and 5th wheel accommodating than motorhomes. Roads are very narrow, but if you get level, the site are nice size. There is a golf course on site, but when we stayed they had a tournament. Also the road into the park is very rough and narrow in places. All in all, I would not return here, especially on a weekend.

We enjoyed hot hamburgers and fries served in a small old fashioned shop...kind of a blast to the past. They have quite a variety on the menu. Would recommend to families.

We ate here twice on our recent visit. They serve breakfast all day which appealed to us so we had breakfast for dinner. The next day, we went back for lunch. All meals were very good, served by very friendly wait staff. We recommend!

This place is ok but the only food is flatbread with very light toppings. It may be pre-made as they were out of our first two selections. Other reviewers mentioned sandwiches but none on menu. Staff was uninterested in customers. We probably wouldnât go back if other choices were available.

The last time that we were down in Lanesboro this restaurant is packed and we were sad that we couldnât go in. We just went to Lanesboro again last weekend, and itâs much quieter so we were able to get a table. The restaurant was nothing fancy, which was fine with us! My husband seem to enjoy his prime rib sandwich. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo Which was $13 and added shrimp for another $8. When it came it was a large bowl of noodles that barely look like it had sauce on it and to shrimp skewers sitting on top. The only seasoning that was on this â was a very light sprinkle of maybe Cajun spice on the shrimp. The shrimp did not look grilled at all but maybe heated up and seasoning sprinkled on after. The sauce was so thin and had no seasoning or flavor to it. Not even salt or pepper. And I got one little slice off a loaf of French bread. 2 would have been nice! The Alfredo from a jar would have been better!

We came for the pastries. They were good. They have a few specials on the board Come early they run out!! No other menu. You just order typical breakfast menus that suited your fancy. The food can quickly when ordered. Oh my gosh!! The veggie omelette was so yummy!! There was great flavor. Order toast as the raspberry jam is so good. Only open for breakfast or lunch. If in the area make the Pastry Shoppe a stop on your way through!!

Fine dining in a casual setting. Dine on the spacious deck overlooking the flowers and the Root River Bike Trail or in the cozy upstairs dining room surrounded by authentic Amish quilts and local artwork. Enjoy our homemade bread, soups, fine entree choic
We have been there a few times. The better seating us on the upper level, but would be a challenge for walk-challenged customers. Both of us had the fish this last time, which tasted fresh. We will go back again. Dessert was good.

Our friends told us we would get a great breakfast in a unique setting served up by an interesting cook/owner. They were exactly right. The waitress was a lot of fun, and we very much enjoyed talking to Gordie, an expert on authentic diners as well as cooking a perfect breakfast. The diner is a beautiful piece of history.

Focusing on made-from-scratch cooking featuring locally grown meats, dairy, and in-season produce. We offer a large selection of burgers, sandwiches, and salads with some unexpected twists. We serve craft beer on tap, homemade draft root beer, and roast o
Stopped in later in the evening to get a bite to eat for dinner our first evening in Lanesboro. Tried the cheese curds (delicious) and the norwegian meatballs. Omg, the norwegian meatballs were just the thing to soak up some of the beer we had earlier and tasted like home made. Very good service as well.
