The sushi was good. The Miso soup was cold. They were out off Stella beer, Blue Moon, and all other bottle beer. The app we ordered, Shrimp Rolls were out too. 5pm on Sunday we were surprised at what we couldnât order. We let the manager know and she was responsive and apologized so we appreciated that.

I had visit here a few times with my family and we all agree about some of the dishes been cold and the replacement of empty containers is not as fast as you want.
Most Popular American food in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, United States
Went last night for dinner. The prices are really reasonable. $12 for dinner including a beverage. The atmosphere is really bland, but the selection, service, and food quality was good. They have Sushi, a Mongolian style made to order grill, and traditional American Chinese buffet options all included in the price. The servers were all polite and efficient. The food was pretty good and I like that they have some healthier options on the sushi buffet.
I am surprised this place only has one review. Granted, it is a tiny joint in a strip mall in Brooklyn Center (or Park -- never sure where the boundary line is), across from a Culver's. However, having lived in Japan for three years I can tell you that both the menu and the decor are the closest to a small Japanese eatery that I have ever been to in the Midwest. Also, unlike these ridiculous Japanese steak houses (an American invention by Benihana) or shi-shi tempura places, this diner is reasonably priced, including the excellent sushi. My favorite dish is a donburi, rice covered with anything from chicken and egg to beef. Admittedly, I have not been there in the past six months or so since I live in Central Minnesota, however their lack of reviews made me feel like I had to write something. If you like Japanese, want it to be authentic and reasonably priced, then you should head out here. It's great!

The atmosphere was dingy. The decor was old. The buffet stations made no sense - Asian foods intermingled with non-Asian foods. The food itself was not very good and the service was practically non-existent. We were a group of 6 people and the server cleared our dishes maybe only twice - which there were a lot of dishes because the plates were so small. People around us were taking heaping plates of crab and crawdad's. And the cost was very high for a buffet. I will never return.
