The restaurant has a new owner (2018) carrying on the tradition with some new twists. Expanded hours for one! Now 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. most days. So far we have only been here for breakfast.French toast with sausage. The sausage patties were very flavorable a little more spicey than the average fare. The toast must have been made using a very soft bread. Perhaps too soft as the test collapsed down a bit. Still adequately cooked with good flavor. If you are near Cook and looking for a meal in a neat, old building, cafe, this is your stop!

Small town bar and grill serving pizza, burgers, wraps, and dinner entrees. Large selection of liquor and beer. The Crescent Bar and Grill offers low off-sale prices, catering, take-out, and has a private room for events.
Nice bar and bar food in a very large restaurant. The night we went there was a wonderful server, when he greeted us, he asked us to be patient as he was the only server for the entire restaurant of about 25 tables along with one bartender. We all got burgers and were very good. There is a nice little salad bar than you can add to your burger for $4 instead of fries. The fries were yummy. In this little town, they even had two vegetarian burger options and they were good, too. The band played in the bar area and we could enjoy in the dining room. We enjoyed our dinner, it is about 20 minutes from Orr and worth the drive.
The Wolf Bay Lodge on Lake Vermilion is about the farthest north you can get on Lake Vermilion. It's where the Vermilion River comes into Lake Vermilion. There are 3 docks if you want to go there by boat. It's peaceful, serene, and most of all simply beautiful. If you are looking for a place to relax, have a few cold ones and enjoy the view, this is the place. The food and service is excellent as well. Our server, Megan, was cheerful, professional, prompt and easy going. She was there when we needed something and gave us space when we were relaxing. She was an excellent server. Try the shrimp. You can't go wrong.

The owners should have opened this place in Minneapolis or some other large metro area. The menu just doesn't fit their locations. It used to be a great place to pull into with your boat and have a burger or even a steak. It just doesn't fit the area.
