The sushi was good. The Miso soup was cold. They were out off Stella beer, Blue Moon, and all other bottle beer. The app we ordered, Shrimp Rolls were out too. 5pm on Sunday we were surprised at what we couldn’t order. We let the manager know and she was responsive and apologized so we appreciated that.

Arrived with my party of three just as lunch ended and dinner began. As I went to inspect the trays of food I found fresh stocked trays in every bin. Yes, I was pleasantly surprised. All the food was hot and tasty. I would say that the hibachi steak was tough and chewy. Overall, my party enjoyed their meals and not a single complaint! The staff was very courteous and quick to remove our plates and offer more drinks.

Hajime Sushi Restaurant

Hajime in Blaine is without a doubt my favorite place to go for Sushi! Happy Hour deals are unbeatable, and the food is amazing. I have tried many different Sushi restaurants in Minneapolis, and in the suburbs, however this place beats them all. The chicken fried rice has so much flavor, and on top of that it comes with Yum Yum Sauce, which is the best I have had. The variety of rolls is nice, and the price is worth it. The Spicy Tuna and Spicy Crab are some of the best rolls on the menu. The staff are friendly and really make sure that the food is prepared nicely and timely. My go-to restaurant is this place! Also the dining room and Sushi bar are equally nice. I enjoy dining in both areas!

Osaka Steak House

If you like Japanese steakhouses featuring food prepared before your eyes, flying knives and special occasion ambiance, this is your best bet. I have been to a few of these places recently and I thought the food was better and the chefs more talented and/or experienced. The chef squirts a little saki into your mouth a couple of times during the show if you wish, and he also has some sort of pink soft drink for the kids who want to do the same. The food is identical to most other places like this, but at least it is served warm and everything is done at the same time. I am not a fan of the much handled and rather racist mask they give you to put on while they sing Happy Birthday, but that's just me I guess.
