Lots of burger and sandwich options. Breakfast menu seems popular as well. Itâs nothing fancy. Seems to be more popular than the other Spot we passed down the road. The fries come breaded and were quite tasty. The taco salad had a homemade fried shell that was flour rather than corn. It was similar to Indian fry bread and tasty. They have a âkids, seniors, and anyone in betweenâ section on the menu.
Restaurant is associated with the hotel across the parking lot. We were there for dinner and were very pleased. They were busy but it was not loud. We were met immediately and the service throughout the meal was excellent. Entrees (walleye; steak) were very good, as were the appetizers and the salad bar. It would be considered a nice restaurant but with the informality one would expect in a small town. Will go again when in MN

I saw the restaurant highlighted on WCCO. We live in Burnsville so Aldrich is a fair distance. A funeral in Alexandria got us close so we made a point to go. We arrived at 5pm just after opening. We were immediately seated. The prices are Sooooo reasonable. The quality was great. I had ribs my husband had prime rib. Both cooked PERFECTLY. You could make a meal on their salad bar. The garlic toast was to die for. When we left at 730 the line for a table was out the door. It's worth the drive and wait!!!!!!! Thank you for a fabulous experience.

Stopped with friends and ordered a Texas turkey melt and my wife had chef salad. Both were very good and what stuck out was the really fast service. Our friends fries were a little underdone but overall excellent. Chicken noodle soup was very good.
