Saint Paul has been called the last city of the East primarily because early developers built it to fit Eastern standards: city squares or parks, towers and turrets, lofty arches, Baroque domes and elaborate adornments abound. Ideal for families and those who like to explore on foot, the capital of Minnesota offers big city attractions with small town manageability. It's an easy and scenic stroll along the banks of the Mississippi River from the Children's Museum to the Science Museum. The kids (and the young at heart) will love them both. Nearby are the grandiose State Capitol, designed by esteemed architect Cass Gilbert and the historic Como Park, which includes lovely picnic areas, a zoo and a conservatory. Also in the mix are modern museums, stately old mansions, interesting natural wonders and unique shops to browse around. Be sure to check out the stellar collection of contemporary works by local artists at the Minnesota Museum of American Art. From four-star luxury to affordable and family-friendly, Saint Paul offers a variety of lodging and dining possibilities making it a great destination for all tastes and budgets.

Absolutely love this place! The holy basil chicken, drunken noodles and pad Thai are my faves! Egg rolls, soup and mango sticky rice are also amazing! I haven’t had a bad meal from here no matter what I order.

Wow! What an incredible restaurant. Incredibly authentic thai food prepared to order by a busy and professional kitchen. This place is busy. Prepared to wait in the itsy bitsy foyer and watch the kitchen perform while you wait for your table. You'll be glad you waited as the incredible menu offers a variety of great Thai food and everything our table ate was great - and mean really great!Beer and wine were also excellent and everything is affordably priced. They have a small parking lot in the back which is handy on this busy street. If it's full, but turn the corner and find street parking. People come from all over the twin cities to dine here and now I know why.

Our group of six enjoys Thai food, so the pressure was on to find a great restaurant to go to before going to the Minnesota History Theater. And in Ruam Mit Thai we found it! We were seated immediately and our service from then on was just as good. We ordered six different dishes and served them family style at our table which gave us all a chance to taste many things. The verdict was unanimous that everyone enjoyed not only the dish they had chosen, but everyone else's too. The varying degrees of heat that you can ask for from mild to spicy help zero in on everyone's tastes and the flavors were wonderful! We'll definitely be back!
