Butcher & the Boar opened in 2012 in Minneapolis, MN, with a simple idea. Create a festive and communal dining experience with American craft food, beer and bourbon. We are a steak and smoked meats house. We believe that top notch ingredients sourced from
First things first: Thank you, Carrie! You took such great care of us and made your work seem effortless in the (rather) crowded beer garden. You treated us well, which makes it easy for me to name drop! :^)We brought our carnivorous out-of-town friends here, mostly because they didn't believe us when we gushed about the meats and beer garden drink specials. I think we ordered one of everything, or so it seemed. We tore into everything like the starved drinkers that we were and no one was disappointed. We shared bites and sips with reckless abandon. It was a great time with great food and fabulous service. And now Mike and Susan believe us!

I've visited the Low Brow a few times over the last several years and have always walked away happy. From brunch to lunch to dinner, the menu is solid with several tempting options; I've really liked everything I've had here. The service is very helpful and accommodating and the atmosphere is always relaxed and low key. I highly recommend the Low Brow for a late lunch on the weekend. You won't regret it.

This is a destination cocktail lounge associated with a new restaurant called "The Bachelor Farmer". They are both one month old.
They offer a wide variety of interesting and creative cocktails in the $12-$15 range. Service was top notch and the place looks great. We stopped here before having dinner at the Bachelor Farmer - you walk up a flight of steps to get to the restaurant.Highly recommended.
