The population was 21,874 at the 2010 census. Rosemount was established as a township in 1858 and incorporated as a city in 1972, encompassing the old village of Rosemount and Pine Bend. According to the city's website, there was some debate over whether to name the township Saratoga or Rosemount, with the latter finally being chosen to reflect the town's Irish heritage, and to remain in keeping with the name given to the post office a few years earlier. Rosemount is home to the Pine Bend Refinery, which is the largest oil refinery in Minnesota and the 14th-largest in the United States. Rosemount was also home to a military gunpowder plant in the 1940s called Gopher Ordnance Works. Now, all that remains are the walls.

These cupcakes are very pretty.They have mostly chocolate cupcakes, which i am NOT a fan of. I am glad that they have more varieties coming so i will have to try those flavors.

This a breakfast weâll be talking about for a long time! Had to wait a bit for a table, but thereâs a nice hallway and toys for kids to play with. Breakfast was worth the wait! Everything we had (chicken fried steak, eggs, bacon, sausage, Swedish pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, potatoes) was delicious. And there were numerous other things on the menu we would love to try. Service was excellent! Highly recommend!Thank you very much for your compliments and kind words! I'm glad you mentioned our fantastic breakfast food, it's definitely hard to beat!! We take pride in our service and our delicious meals and we absolutely love hearing your feedback. Thank you again!

Nice, bright diner-style restaurant good for families. All meals were quite good. One odd thing, however. The grandson had a turkey on toast which came on a bare plate with his fries. I had the special of country fried steak, mashed potatoes and sausage gravy. The country fried steak and potatoes were on a plate covered with paper. Seems it should have been the other way round.Good service and excellent strawberry milkshakes!Thank you! We really appreciate your generosity. It's always nice to know that we are moving in the right direction.
