Arrived early to enjoy a with my boys at the bar. The bartender was excellent and quickly served us our drinks. The rest of our party arrived shortly afterward, ordered drinks and we proceeded to the table when we were all ready. Waitress and manager were very accommodating to us. Ordered apps, laughed with the waitress, and everything served hot and very satisfying. Meals came next good burgers, wings, daily specials. Overall, a delightful and successful father's day celebration.

This is the first time at the restaurant. Went there with our daughter and her friend. The fish and breading were outstanding and the fries were equally as good. The only thing that didn't make the grade was the coleslaw. Not my idea of coleslaw.

A locally owned establishment that offers traditional American dining and bar! Open 365 days a year until 2am!
A 10:00am Sunday brunch date with friends found the restaurant super crowded with a wait for seating in the dining room. Making our way past the crowd at the door, we squeezed through the extremely closely placed tables to a postage stamp sized 4 top where our friends were waiting. Our server arrived fairly quickly and got our drink orders. Bloody Marys and a snit. We opted for NOT a Coors for the chasers and upon seeing the Finnegans tap handle requested one of those, instead. Oh, and BTW, it's a $1 upcharge for a shorter pour. Now, a good server would have, 1)known that a Bloody chaser is usually a lager/ale type of beer, 2) that the Finnegans on tap was actually their stout, and 3) informed us of of this situation. None of these conditions were met. Now we like a good stout, and even this particular stout, but that is not what we had expected as a Bloody Mary chaser. When we asked the server about it, she didn't know for sure what was poured, just that she had typed in "Finnegans". The Bloody Mary bar was awkwardly placed so that it interrupted service to tables around it as well as caused disruption at the front door. However, the variety of mixers was rather impressive, no fewer than 25, as well as a host of pickles, olives, cheese, etc. The shrimp was large but tasted as though it had been defrosted in a bucket of water because it lacked any flavor at all.The food came out in about the expected time frame. It was hot and well plated. The hashbrowns were golden and crispy (although the cheese was not melted for those that had it). The queso Benedict sounded like a good idea but the execution left me uninspired. The muffin was burnt to blackened on 1 part, the pico on top consisted of 6 tomato pieces and 4 red onion chunks (yes, I could count them) and I bit into the stem end of the avocado but the avocado itself was firm and fresh, the egg properly cooked and the queso was warm and creamy. All in all it wasn't a bad experience but there was nothing about it that will have us going back again.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered up the 1/2 Soup and Sandwich special. First the Ruben on Marble Rye and Beer Cheese Soup $ 7.99, delicious. Then the Cuban with Cole Slaw $ 9.99.

I am from out of town and this Applebee's was convenient. I sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive. I tried the salmon and asparagus. It was cooked well and was very flavorful. I think Applebee's has improved the overall quality of their food and it shows.

New restaurant bar that took over the old Pickle Park. Went there for Halloween party. Had an appetizer egg rolls and a burger. Food was excellent and the bartenders were very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and specials of the week. The food came out quickly. I highly recommend this place. I really hope that they continue to be this good. There are bands on the weekends too. Which we loved the band that was there that night.

Iâve been to Applebeeâs before & Iâve ordered their Thai Shrimp salad before. The hostess that seated me was cheery and friendly enough, but my waitress was just okay. It felt like once she knew I wasnât going to order a drink then it was just short business talk. My food arrived quickly. I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side and the salad was soaked in it.

The location of this bar/billiards room is near Columbia Heights - so the table sitting next to you likely has occupants that were recently released from prison (as seen in the recent stabbing that took place there). The entire establishment smells of stale beer and vomit - be prepared for this upon entry! The bartenders are very SLOW and depressed looking. If you're idea of a good meal is spending $25 for a plate of appetizer wings, this is definitely a place for you.
