We loved eating at this restaurant. The attentive staff are friendly and smile. The food is typical what you would expect. Hard to find a parking spot but worth the search. Karri was our waitperson and she did a great job. Loved the fajitas--pop too expensive.

Was not very happy with this place, food was not very good and for the price, did not have much to pick from, thought it was a sit down place, was like a fast food place. This place was not to my liking, my daughter and grandkids were not happy with it either!
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
I have loved Taco Johns for years, however the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. I wish the would promote or advertise their daily specials more also.
For authentic Mexican food in Central MN check out La Campechana! They're shredded beef tacos, expecially when ordered on the platter, remind me of the real Mexican flavors closer to the border. The food is the reason to go. The layout is somewhat similar cafeteria tables, which do the trick and are kid friendly. They usually have some good music on as well, and staff are constantly making sure things are clean. Check out the menu, and the salsa bar. My mouth waters just thinking about it!

There are better options, but for being a very green and community minded company, Chipotle will get my business over the competition.

Went here on Easter Sunday around 2 p.m. Probably was 2/3 full in the restaurant. We had a friendly server. We looked at the menu, which has been continually been tweaked and not what it used to be. You really can't eat under $10, so okay. My kids used to rave about the Quesadilla burger from the Roseville restaurant in the cities. I always get the Oriental Chicken Salad but was feeling like a hot entree this time. So, I opted for the burger. Instead of fries, got the Garlic Mashed Potatoes, which I thought was nice. I like a choice and don't like to do fries, generally. Our food took forever to come out.I felt my plate and it was luke warm. The potatoes were warm and I tried to melt my butter in it. The burger was also lukewarm, so I asked that it be heated up. When it came back, it was warmer but not hot like you expect restaurant food to be served. The quesadilla burger was a mess. The lettuce was slimy, there was no tomato, or avocado, or pico de gallo. There was cheese. The taste of the burger was offputting - sort of like home-made from high fat content meat that was turning. The burger wasn't a patty shape. After a couple of small bites, I decided to send it back. I ordered my Oriental Chicken Salad. The manager stopped over twice to apologize. My girlfriend's burger and fries were okay, and her dessert and Raspberry Lemonade was good. She picked up the check, which was a nice surprise treat! The server brought our bill and looked on for her reaction. "Wow. Thank you!", my friend said. We'd not been charged for either of my entrees. That's how service recovery is done, complete with apology and 'making things right' by the manager.Yet, I don't want to go here anymore, at least for a long while. She's had issues before about cold food, and I just find their latest combinations to be weird. I used to love Applebee's. I don't want bizarre chili sauced chicken nuggets on top of mac and cheese. I want a good steak, or a sandwich variety that doesn't cost $14. I miss TGIFriday's. We'll hit Texas Roadhouse next time instead and pay the extra buck for some good eats. Thank you server and manager, for not making us pay for food that was not up to par.

The Birthday people choose this restaurant for delivery thru Food Dudes. Delivery time was as requested. Orders were correct. Everyone was thrilled with their choice of burrito. My chicken verde salad was plated in a soggy fried tortilla on bean purée. The lettuce was watery and soggy and of the chicken verde non-descript. This was the third time my choice was a really really really poor example of authentic Mexican food. Would not recommend the current quality as the food was much better in the past.

Stopped in after the basketball game for a much needed Jumbo Margarita and a Burrito Carnita...both hit the spot after coming up 2 short in the semi-finals. The salsa and chips were still fresh at the late hour and the carnita combo in the burrito was spot on!Great value for the portions!!

This is my 3rd visit to one of the Anejo locations and I just have not been Impressed with the food. This most recent visit I ordered a combination plate which included enchilada and burrito. Maybe I just didn't know they are nearly the exact same thing. Literally the same meat and sauce was used. No lettuce, no cheese, no other fillers like onions. Nothing. Just bland. Only real difference was size of tortilla. My bad - I should only order tried and true. The service, on the other hand was great! That being said, not sure I would venture back

We stopped in one afternoon and were told of the specials and advised of the free appetizer bar, however we ordered off the menu anyway. Then we checked out the free food and realized we could have had plenty just eating the chips, salsas, re-fried beans, mini tacos and other assorted items. The other food was good but we all had to take some home with us. Great portions too. We had the house margaritas which were also a happy hour special and had a real nice time. Very friendly staff also!!
