Find out what Italian restaurants to try in Roseville. Roseville is a city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, just north of Saint Paul and east of Minneapolis. It is one of two Twin Cities suburbs that are adjacent to both Saint Paul and Minneapolis (the other is Lauderdale). The land comprising Falcon Heights, Lauderdale, and southern Roseville was part of Saint Paul until Roseville incorporated in 1948 and Falcon Heights and Lauderdale in 1949.

Painfully average pizza and below-average salads. I ordered a Santorini Pizza and a Greek salad for dinner. My Greek salad lacked flavor, which was surprising given the amount of ingredients in it. The dressing was also not what I expected. I was anticipating something like a Greek vinaigrette, but instead I got little more than olive oil and vinegar, which did nothing but weigh down the ingredients. Also, there were entirely too many olives, which is really saying something because, I happen to love olives. The Santorini pizza was not as amazing as I wanted it to be. The flavor combinations just did not combine smoothly for me. Additionally, the crust was tough and overall it just didn't work for me.

Excellent capellini, sirloin steak and carrot cake. Great service as well. My only complaint is that we arrived 6 minutes early for our reservation and the hosts gave us a snotty "We'll seat you closer to your reservation time", which wasn't the case as we were seated 15 minutes after our reservation.

Davanni's has the best deep dish pizza I've tried anywhere. Thin crust also very tasty. Friendly staff. Try hamburger, pepperoni, and green olive deep dish! Plain looking building but you're there for great pizza. Their Hoagies are supposed to be the best but we always get the pizza cause it's so good.

We celebrated a birthday here tonight with a free pizza. Our waitress was absolutely adorable and she knows her stuff. The pizza was tasty and the hot chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla was also delicious. We took the bus here, so easy to get here and get home again. It was getting busier as time went by. Itâs a good place to be.

We used to go to Aurelio's frequently when we lived in the Twin Cities. It was, by far, our favorite pizza. Returned there this week while visiting and after 18 years, it is still our favorite. The sauce is amazing, the crust is fantastic. We introduced it to our children and they loved it as much as we did. The prices are a little steeper than what I'm used to for pizza, but I'll pay it gladly for the delicious product. I love that it is this little unassuming place in a strip mall. (The China Restaurant in the same strip mall also has my favorite Kung Pao chicken ever). Great staff, trivia questions at the table, wonderful food. Wish we still lived close by!

Came here on a weekday for a business lunch. Pleasant environment, wide range of food options (salads, sandwiches, etc). The food was pretty good but it was somewhat pricey. Chicken with cranberries and almonds was $11.99, as was chicken caesar. You go to the counter and order the food. It's brought to you if it takes preparation (many sandwiches are ready but salads are produced on order). They also have some dessert options.Plenty of free outside parkin

It's a classic, staple and a chain but there's just something about their salad and breadsticks that always brings me back. I ended up splitting the tour of Italy with a friend which makes dinner for two for $25 tough to beat and we both left a little uncomfortably full. We thought we'd beet the rush by going Sunday night at 5:30, but seemed to end up during the rush but still only waited about 15 minutes for a table...

A local Italian restaurant with excellent food. The pizzas looked good but we had an Italian sausage sandwich. Think it was called a Diego. If you are not super hungry split it. It was huge and we still took some home not very big but it is a home cooking food at its best. Prices are very reasonable.Definitely a hidden gem. We went there early so we didnât have to wait. Not very big but I guess itâs always busy. Went there on the recommendation of our son.

I've been a regular at Luce since 1995. Some of the locations are better than others; I've had some awful food at Lyndale, for example, and love Franklin best for consistency and comfort. Roseville is their most family-friendly, tame location. It has far more of the feel of a suburban restaurant than any other Luce, and is a safe place to take both grandma and your 5 year old. The food is routinely better-than-good, and the menu isn't that different from other locations. Like all their locations, it's a good place to bring those on special diets, whether vegan or gluten-free. The bar and bar staff are solid - knowledgable, friendly, good at suggestions, and make some fierce cocktails. While the Roseville location is not my favorite (just a little too Red Robin or Applebees feeling, which is not at all what I associate with Luce) it still deserves 5 stars, and I will absolutely continue to stop by when I'm in the neighborhood.

Popular and well attended assuring turn over of food stock and freshness. Northwest Salmon was perfectly prepared (moist) with a perfectly complimentary plated sauce. I asked for a filet French blue Waitress didnât blink an eye and the steak was perfectly encrusted and ideally temperatures inside. Appetizer of calamari was freshly lightly breaded and tender, but pretty standard. Bacon wrapped scallops were pretty standard as well. Service was good with some wait for second drink rounds from the bar and asking about desert while we were still eating our main course. But really nothing to complain about and good Service. I would recommend this place for business or (special occasion) pleasure.
