We recently brought a group for lunch. Everyone had a choice of chicken sandwich. The sandwiches were delicious. We were assigned one waitress of 47 people which was not adequate. We were delayed and late for our trolley tour. Fortunately, they brought the trolleys right to the restaurant for boarding. Would go back but probably not with a group as the service was not adequate.

The location is off the beaten track a bit, but it's worth the drive. Prime rib - nicely done with the right flavor. Ribs - wow, surprisingly good. All the Appy's were yummy. The patio was nice on a Minnesota summer evening. The highlight was the service on this most recent trip. Have to love how helpful, timely and attentive that service team really was.It is a pretty broad menu, with lots of choices. Frankly, the food is better now than it was previously. It had been okay - but this trip everything tasted and presented better. We will be back - SOON!

We weren't planning to eat at Whitey's but after looking over the menu decided on some drinks and appetizers. Reasonable prices and good drink and food selection. We enjoyed some meaty and flavorful slow roasted pigs wings along with some spicy cooked to perfection asparagus. Prompt and consistent service.

Ate here with friends for lunch. Really enjoyed the fact that we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating area! Tables were granite topped barrels with urban bonfires and comfortable seats. We were greeted by a server named Jess and she was very attentive to our needs. I ordered the Sausage pizza and my partner ordered soup and sandwich. The pizza had a crispy thin crust, was covered in cheese and the sausage was very flavorful! My partner liked the BLT sandwich but found the bean and ham soup to be on the salty side. Overall, our experience was great and service was excellent! Thank you for a pleasant afternoon! Will return again!

This restaurant just opened March 28. Featuring English pub food.
Found the place as a spot to eat as we went to explore Stillwater on a Saturday afternoon. Friendly wait staff, also helpful about suggesting where we might need to visit in our exploration. Food was good, tasty burger and interesting that steak fries (they call them something different) were served in a glass. The place takes on a Colonial atmosphere given it's located at New England Place. Worth visiting.

Casual, fun atmosphere with great upscale pub food and the best beer selection in the Valley. Family friendly, and a great place to meet friends whether for drinks or to catch the game, a local icon for 33 years and counting.
Mad Capper is always a sure thing. My wife and I stopped in for dinner a couple days ago and weren't disappointed. Just a light supper with chili and fries but oh were they good. Plus great wine and draft beer. And really good service. We will be back!

We visited on a quiet Thursday evening. I ordered toasted cheese and soup. The sandwich was good, but would have been better with less cheese. Great soup. The service was excellent. The ambiance was noteworthy.

My husband and I enjoyed the inventive (but overpriced) cocktails here! He had the Pecan Smoked Bourbon Whiskey which comes with a mallet to break a spherical ice cube thatâs filled with smoke. I had the Double Entendre Martini which is fun because the drink âmeltsâ cotton candy. He enjoyed the Mushroom Fontina Burger. I had the Poutine which was okay. Overall it was a fun experience.

After biking the Stillwater area, we wanted to find a new place to celebrate our 38th anniversary. Dock Cafe was perfect! We got a table along the river on their patio. And the bottle of Reisling and the seafood entrees were very tasty! The free hot fudge sundae from our server really topped it off - since we love ice cream.

Drove 12 hours and arrived Stillwater searching for dinner around 8p. Wandered into Lolo. Waitress was super friendly and helped us weary travelers select items that werenât too heavy and yummy. Watermellon beet salad was the best! Burger was lean and delicious. Thanks for a good first night!
