Mad Jacks Sports Cafe in Vadnais Heights, MN is a new kind of sports bar. We have all the fun and drinks of a sports bar, but with quality food in a more upscale and family-friendly atmosphere. At Mad Jacks we use woodfire cooking for a unique, mouthwater
Have to give kudos to the service at Mad Jacks. We were promptly seated and waited on immediately. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered loaded hash browns and pretzel. These were tasty. Also ordered chicken and ribs. The chicken was flavorful and tender. Canât say the same for the ribs. They were very tough and we gave up trying to eat them. So many more things on the menu to try next time but I wonât order ribs again.

Grumpy's Roseville is one of our favorite local bar/restaurants. We frequently come here to watch a game on the big screen. Prior to Grumpy's this location had several restraunts that couldn't survive. Grumpy's has an awesome menu and friendly staff that keep the locals coming back for more. We really enjoy the casual atmosphere and some of their menu items are totally crave worthy. Try the Hell On Wheels Sandwich (with your choice of fry type or tot) or their Spinach Flatbread Salad. The Mac and cheese will also hit the spot. Happy hour is hopping so get there early.

Went to Moe's with a friend for dinner. We were greeted by Alex, and he couldn't have been nicer! He has worked there for a year and a half, and he was great explaining the menu! What a nice young man! We both had a side salad, which was really fresh and yummy. I had a Patty Melt with fries, and the burger was cooked to my liking, and was very good! My friend had a pasta with lemon and shrimp, and she said it was very good too! It has a nice bar area, and a dining area on both sides and an outdoor patio. They had a good beer selection too. It was happy hour when we went. I had 2 beers and my meal and it was under $30 with tip. I would definitely go back!

We had a good lunch at this chain brewery/restaurant.This location was very large, so we had no problmes being seated immediately during a weekday lunch, despite there being a decent crowd. Our server was good, and very efficient. I was pleasantly surprised with my steak salad; the meat was done perfectly for my tastes. It was seared on the outside, and medium, and very tender, on the insde with good taste, leading to an enjoyable business lunch.

Although the chicken in my Winner Winner dinner was moist and tender, it had very little flavor. The sautéed veggies and rice pilaf were equally flavorless. My husbandâs Surf & Turf, which was shrimp and andouille sausage, was a great disappointment - completely lacked seasoning. Others at the table ordered the walleye - very small portions. The only part of our meal we really enjoyed was the House Wedge Salad. The decor - or lack there of - made this place very uninteresting. We have no reason to want to come back - sorry to say.

I've been a regular at Luce since 1995. Some of the locations are better than others; I've had some awful food at Lyndale, for example, and love Franklin best for consistency and comfort. Roseville is their most family-friendly, tame location. It has far more of the feel of a suburban restaurant than any other Luce, and is a safe place to take both grandma and your 5 year old. The food is routinely better-than-good, and the menu isn't that different from other locations. Like all their locations, it's a good place to bring those on special diets, whether vegan or gluten-free. The bar and bar staff are solid - knowledgable, friendly, good at suggestions, and make some fierce cocktails. While the Roseville location is not my favorite (just a little too Red Robin or Applebees feeling, which is not at all what I associate with Luce) it still deserves 5 stars, and I will absolutely continue to stop by when I'm in the neighborhood.

We all ordered the street tacos. We thought maybe we should have shared when they came but they were so good we all ate them all. I wish the had warmed the tortillas. The shells were cold but the avocado salsa was very good. We ordered a side of dry rub fries and the were also excellent. $13 for 3 street tacos. The place needs more in it to help with the noise. Voices echo and it can be loud.

Weâve been here a couple of times. Some of the food is quite good but other times they should be embarrassed by what they serve (tomatoes that are so unripe theyâre literally white, salads with limp lettuce swimming in dressing). The service is mostly friendly but with poor follow through (needing to remind them of missed items, multiple servers unable to confirm basic ingredient information with the kitchen). There were two hostesses working today, and neither said hello when we walked in. I said âHi, could we have a table for two?â and one said âbrunch or lunch.â We hadnât visited on a weekend before or seen the menu yet so we werenât sure, but when they didnât offer any details (or even a menu) I just said lunch and asked for a table on the patio. I never found out why it would matter since there were folks eating brunch and lunch items at nearby tables. Thanks for taking a moment to review us. Have wanted to try this place since they opened. Had a few hours to kill so I decided to try lunch by myself here today. Atmosphere was ok, and the high top stool chairs are incredibly uncomfortable. However. Stacey the server was very sweet, engaged me in conversation at the bar and was able to make a mean mimosa (cuz it was close enough to noon ;) and helped me decide on a yummy meal choice. I chose the Italian wrap. It was a bit greasy but that's what happens when you heat up Italian meats. I probably would have liked it cold better but it was still good.Half of the menu isn't available until 4 which was disappointing but based on my experience today I will definitely come back another day to try it out!
