A pizza and Mexican restaurant on Gull Lake in Lake Shore, MN.
My husband and I go to Zorbaz quite often. We have been to ALMOST all of the chains in Minnesota. The Gull Lake Zorbaz is our favorite. WHY? The staff! The staff proved it once again this past weekend. On a sunny and wonderful Sunday we took off on our motorcycle for the Brainered Lakes area (50+ mile trip one way for us). As we enjoyed the view of the lake I noticed a few crumbs on the table- I asked the bar staff for a towel just to clean off the table- NO! You're relaxing- PLEASE let us take care of it! We ordered the Cuban Pizza- one of our favorites. Unfortunately it had pineapple on it. Generally no big problem... except... I'm allergic to pineapple- raw or cooked. We doubled checked to make sure we didn't mess up- no, pineapple wasn't supposed to be on the pizza. I can't have it. I was on my way over to our wonderful outdoor bartenders, when my husband saw one of the young waitstaff coming by. He said- Oh no! I will take care of this! I am so sorry! When Cora dropped off our wings, we let her know that our number needed to stay- that our pizza was being made. Cora quickly said- I know, and I am SO SORRY for this. Is there anything else you need while your pizza is being made? We were good. The pizza came out fairly quickly- even though it was a BUSY day. Again the waitstaff that brought our pizza said- we are so sorry for the mix up. The pizza was excellent. Cora stopped by to check on us, and our first waiter had come by to make sure we were ok and the new pizza was right. It was appreciated that we were checked on by the waitstaff- even though they were busy. When we went to pay the bill, our bartender Who had taken care of us earlier asked- everything ok with your visit? My husband said once our pizza came out it was great. The bartender asked what happened. When my husband explained about the mix up the bartender asked if I was ok- I was fine since I caught the problem. The bartender gave us a coupon for a pizza on our next visit! This was not expected by us- but something he wanted to do. I so appreciated the waitstaff. I wanted to give a special shout out to the entire crew at Zorbaz for taking care of us- they did more than they had to for us. They work so hard to make sure everyone is happy and having a good time. To the Manager on Sunday July 7, 2019- you have a great crew at the outside bar/patio/dock area! They worked exceptionally hard and made sure we had a great time. We ALWAYS have great service- but this VERY BUSY Sunday they more than exceeded our expectations! THANK YOU!!!!

We loved everything! The food is wonderful! Steaks, chops, fish all great! Best baked potatoes weâve ever had! We all agreed we would travel to Nisswa just to have dinner at the Bar Harbor Supper Club!

There's a men's group that meets at Commander's for breakfast. The service is good and the breakfast pretty darn good! However, for dinner, the ribs tops any ribs i've had, anywhere in the world. Fall-off-bone is an apt description but you can tell there is a little more care taken in the preparation and for the sauce provided. Addictive? Yes, in my opinion.

Main Street Ale House is a family friendly restaurant located in downtown Nisswa. Patio Dining, 30 taps, a unique menu all in a modern lodge building.
This is a delightful restaurant in downtown Nisswa. A great selection of Midwest beers on draft - like, maybe 20 - along with a minimalist menu of appealing food. I went with grilled walleye which was outstanding, while my wife had a salad. All in all, a great place to eat or sample local brews. Friendly staff adds to the charm.

All summer Dockside keeps you singing & dancing! Great live entertainers either out on the humongous deck or in the bar. Plenty of smiling staff on hand. Who could ask for more? Plus, a big cruise boat!

The real appraisal is a 4. Why a 2?. The reason is that we waited 30 minutes after we ordered a hamburger and fried shrimp. Was a Friday night. The restaurant had one, yes one, bartender. Very nice and professional. He was the orchestra man, from serving drinks to running to the kitchen for food. A shame by the restaurant owner to treat people like that. We did not mind to wait. Only 3 waitress to tend a lot of people. We were told the kitchen was backed up 1 hr. Unacceptable. On the other hand I will be back for the great food and the smile on those wonderful people that saved the neck of the " master" despite the huge stress they were encountering. Very valuable human beings. They deserve a huge recognition.
This is not a good place to go for Pan Fried Walleye. They serve it with loaded mashed potatoes which is a very small serving with bacon bits, green onions and cheese and 4 small pieces of asparagus. Also the price is high.

We love this place. And heck, for $14 on Saturday nights they have an all-you-can-eat buffet. Itâs got home cooked style fried chicken, mash potatoes, salad bar, dinner rolls, bread pudding and more. Regular old working man beers and spirits. Actually a huge selection of liquor; this place is much larger than it looks and is a local hot spot all year round. If you are not from Minnesota, this is a bonafide off-the-beaten-trail Minnesota gen with a taste of the local culture. Lots of paraphernalia on the wall for your viewing pleasure (ya gotta look close at some of this stuff; really interesting. Fun atmosphere, great servers,

Weâve had a cabin in Pequot Lakes since 1987 and have visited many restaurants in the area many many times. After only hearing bad things about Timberjack, we never went. Well itâs been many years, letâs try it! We walk in and thereâs signs saying theyâll be short staffed next week. Ok but that sounds like they should be fine this week right? We get seated and wait forever to be greeted and drinks ordered. We get our meals after a lot wait (other patrons even mentioned the long wait to us) and waitress walks off without asking if we need anything else. Turns out we were short a set of silverware. We yelled âmaam?â â missâ and she kept walking by without looking our way. Finally we had to go to the hostess to get silverware. Then we realize we didnât get the dinner roll promised with the dinners. Turns out, the âbreadstickâ with salad WAS the dinner roll - ummm no. Not a dinner roll. We had two prime rib specials and two steak and shrimp combos. The prime rib people say it was eh. I was one that had the steak/shrimp, steak had char on the outside and the shrimp were literally caked with pepper. We had to scrape it off because it was so overpowering. Not once did our waitress ask how we were doing or get us refills. With the pepper we needed it. I was incredibly disappointed and they definitely lost a year round customer. Stick with Tasty, Luckys and others if in Pequot. Avoid avoid avoid! Oh, I gave two stars because the prime rib was eh and not terrible I heard.

My daughter, 4 year old granddaughter and I stopped in for a late lunch after shopping. Our server Emily? Was very nice, efficient and prompt! We had the Reuben balls as our appetizer, yummy! We shared the Cajun chicken wrap and fries, HUGE! Very tasty also! Ohhhhh the Bloody Mary was good too!! Cheers!
