Were up to Virginia for a bike trip and stopped at The Sawmill for lunch. Ordered bacon,Mac and cheese, JDBurger, salads and club sandwiches. Food was great, but we waited for over an hour. Unexceptionable!! The waitress was training a gal to be a waitress, and I would suggest that they do this on a week day!!

The parmi garlic wings...nuff said. WOW! Love this little bar & grille! Staff is friendly & quick with your order & can't think of one sigle thing I'd change about any of it! Love the fact they have a huge patio to sit on outside since this IS MN. & nice day's are few & far between...it's a great place to meet friends & catch up! Keep up the great work guys! I'll be back!

My girlfriend and I had heard about the fish and shrimp fry here and wanted to try it. We came into a very pleasant clean cheery place. We were seated in a nice booth. Our waitress got our sodas quickly and took our order. We each ordered the âAll you can eat fish and shrimpâ. They started our order with 5 small shrimp and one piece of fish. So we chatted and enjoyed our diner. The food was very good. But wasnât much to start with. We were done in just a few mins. So hereâs where things got bad. We finished our initial fish and shrimp and asked for more shrimp and a refill on soda. Our waitress didnât say one thing. Just gave us a smug look and left. Almost 10-15 mins later she came back and threw us each a plate with three shrimp on it. I immediately ordered more because we were not done eating yet and I didnât want to experience that long wait again with no food on our plates. Our waitress just looked disgusted that we would even ask her to get more. Again she said nothing and came back again in 10-15 mins with 3 shrimp. We never did get âall we could eatâ we just got tired of the bad service and left. Our waitress was a very young blonde girl and we sat in the first booth closest to the door in the middle. She was very rude. I never got so much as a word out of her the whole time we were there. I will never go back.

We visited this restaurant twice in one week. The staff was very friendly. The service was fast and of course they have delicious food. They also offer several vegetarian choices. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

There were 8 of us walking around down town Virginia shopping and enjoying the holiday setup. We decided to stop at grammas for lunch. The service was quick and efficient. The place was clean and the servers were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! The food was great and everyone left satisfied. The ladies all managed to land a glass of wine here also! Some friends and I had dinner before a painting class. It was early, so it wasn't busy at all. We were seated quickly and our drink order taken and served quickly. We were waiting on a friend to arrive so we ordered some wings (oyster and garlic Parmesan). The wings were tasty enough but the garlic ones could have been more garlicky. Our party ordered Nachos, a gyro wrap, a shrimp po'boy and a Five 0 burger. The Nachos was a good size order for an appetizer. The person that ordered The Five 0 Burger said it tasted like a frozen patty that had been cooked on the flat top, not super impressive. One person ordered the Gyro wrap. Presentation was good, but the wrap had very little meat it was filled with mostly lettuce. I ordered the shrimp po'boy as a wrap. The shrimp was good and had a nice spicy sauce, but again filled with mostly lettuce. All were served (except Nachos) with fries that were pretty good. Overall not super impressed. If we went back it would be for the wings.

We like this restaurant even though the service is really slow but today was ridiculously slow. We walked out. One waitress. We got our own menus. My hubby caught her eye and waved twice. She hid in the bar area. In the mean time after about being ignored for ten minutes, 4 guys walked in and she brought menus to them and took their drinks. Left is sitting. That is when we walked out. We want to be known for our customer service and how well we treat, help and work with our customers, not the opposite. I appreciate you taking the time to write this review and giving me insight into issues that I need to address.
