We had a great summer and that is thanks to all of you who came in and shared a special evening with us! We'll see you next spring!
Our family ( ages 11-83 ) had dinner one of the evenings while staying at the resort. Resort is wonderful BTW. Our food was just okay. We had everything from burgers - which were good to the most expensive entree, rib eye-which was just okay. Biggest disappointment came from the walleye, terrible is an understatement. Felt worse because it was for my father who was so looking forward to a great walleye dinner. Would we eat there again? Probably not. Iâm sure there are better restaurants in the area.

Seemed like a lot of locals and we fish out of water but it must have been the owner who immediately greeted and seated us. Awesome food. Loved the steak salad-large-didnât want to eat it all but couldnât resist. Iâd like to go back tomorrow night!

My husband and I stop every so often at the Big Axe Brewery. The brewery is attached to a restaurant- we haven't eaten there, but the food always looks great. We enjoy the outdoor seating at Big Axe. The inside brewery has limited seating- but in the winter time it works great. I like the variety of beers to try. The 'only' problem is service. On a busy weekend staff is stretched with cooking, waiting tables and pouring beers. The brewery area sometimes has their bartender in two different areas. Customers- please know all you need to do is to go to the restaurant side someone will help you. The staff wants you to have a great time and they are willing to let you try different beers. They want you happy. We always enjoy our visit here to Big Axe

Main Street Ale House is a family friendly restaurant located in downtown Nisswa. Patio Dining, 30 taps, a unique menu all in a modern lodge building.
This is a delightful restaurant in downtown Nisswa. A great selection of Midwest beers on draft - like, maybe 20 - along with a minimalist menu of appealing food. I went with grilled walleye which was outstanding, while my wife had a salad. All in all, a great place to eat or sample local brews. Friendly staff adds to the charm.

The atmosphere at Sherwood is so unique and cozy. Lots of history here. Staff was all so friendly! The chef even stepped out and went around to tables asking how things tasted. The food & drink was perfect!!! Everyone greatly enjoyed their dishes. Will definitely come back again.

This place has mixed reviews. We had a local recommend the place for breakfast. Our malts for me were pricey at seven dollars but they were very good. It was quiet while we were there and we had fast service. I had a caramel malt and my wife had a strawberry malt. Both of us loved the malts.

A pizza and Mexican restaurant on Gull Lake in Lake Shore, MN.
My husband and I go to Zorbaz quite often. We have been to ALMOST all of the chains in Minnesota. The Gull Lake Zorbaz is our favorite. WHY? The staff! The staff proved it once again this past weekend. On a sunny and wonderful Sunday we took off on our motorcycle for the Brainered Lakes area (50+ mile trip one way for us). As we enjoyed the view of the lake I noticed a few crumbs on the table- I asked the bar staff for a towel just to clean off the table- NO! You're relaxing- PLEASE let us take care of it! We ordered the Cuban Pizza- one of our favorites. Unfortunately it had pineapple on it. Generally no big problem... except... I'm allergic to pineapple- raw or cooked. We doubled checked to make sure we didn't mess up- no, pineapple wasn't supposed to be on the pizza. I can't have it. I was on my way over to our wonderful outdoor bartenders, when my husband saw one of the young waitstaff coming by. He said- Oh no! I will take care of this! I am so sorry! When Cora dropped off our wings, we let her know that our number needed to stay- that our pizza was being made. Cora quickly said- I know, and I am SO SORRY for this. Is there anything else you need while your pizza is being made? We were good. The pizza came out fairly quickly- even though it was a BUSY day. Again the waitstaff that brought our pizza said- we are so sorry for the mix up. The pizza was excellent. Cora stopped by to check on us, and our first waiter had come by to make sure we were ok and the new pizza was right. It was appreciated that we were checked on by the waitstaff- even though they were busy. When we went to pay the bill, our bartender Who had taken care of us earlier asked- everything ok with your visit? My husband said once our pizza came out it was great. The bartender asked what happened. When my husband explained about the mix up the bartender asked if I was ok- I was fine since I caught the problem. The bartender gave us a coupon for a pizza on our next visit! This was not expected by us- but something he wanted to do. I so appreciated the waitstaff. I wanted to give a special shout out to the entire crew at Zorbaz for taking care of us- they did more than they had to for us. They work so hard to make sure everyone is happy and having a good time. To the Manager on Sunday July 7, 2019- you have a great crew at the outside bar/patio/dock area! They worked exceptionally hard and made sure we had a great time. We ALWAYS have great service- but this VERY BUSY Sunday they more than exceeded our expectations! THANK YOU!!!!

We spent four days at the Grandview Lodge and dined here three nights - all exceptional. Impeccable service and well prepared and imaginative entrees. The beef filet was remarkable in flavor and texture. We also tried the halibut and lamb rack, and all perfectly prepared.

DELIcIOUS pizza and great service!!! Donât miss this one!!! Delicious pizza is an understatement and I am a pizza snob! The veggie was the BEST of the four pizzas we got! (Iâd skip the others BUT donât skip the cheese bread and sauce or the pepperoni bread and sauce!)
