VFW is a interesting place to visit. Good appetizers, reasonably priced. Drinks served with enough liquor to taste. Prices have gone up since last visited but still a bargain compared to sports bars. Friendly, down to earth staff
The Forest Lake area's best restaurant for sandwiches, soups, salads and more! Fast, fresh and as healthy as you would like it to be. And now for that sweet tooth, we have ice cream too!
The menu is not very large, but it's a good selection and what you get is fresh and very tasty. So far I've had their Fiesta Chicken Wrap, the cilantro is very fresh and it has a nice smoky taste. Loved it! The turkey club is fresh on a toasted cranberry bread. Very good. The tortilla soup was simple, delicious and hearty. Perfect for a chilly day. The service is great. The owner (Eric) is attentive to details and genuinely cares about the food he serves. Forest Lake needed a good soup and sandwich place. There's a few tables or you can take it to go. What a great addition to Forest Lake!

We go quite often as the food is fast, but made to order. The cheeseburgers are really big; I can never eat the whole thing. The pulled pork sandwiches are really taste too. Itâs hard to choose! My husband likes the philly steak sandwich or the gyro. We always start with the cheese curds, the bacon ketchup is the best!

I stopped in to break up a long drive home from up North, and to catch the Vikings/Packers game. I ordered a dollar margarita and the spinach artichoke appetizer. When it came, the cheese on top was a solid mass and inedible. But my server, Tanner, came back right away, understood my complaint, left the chips and salsa, and quickly returned with an entirely new order, with just-right cheese on the dip. He also paid attention to my beverage, even though he was working the bar as well as waiting tables. The food is pretty standard, but I like knowing what I can expect. The service was exemplary. And we won the game. :)

Iâve visited a few Famous Daveâs in the MN and SD area. This one offers âcounter orderingâ with table delivery. Food is good and great variety. Sauces are delicious, chicken was moist and flavourful and they have a few different beers if you want one with lunch.

With a name like Vanelli you expect good Italian food...doesn't disappoint. Happy hour and daily specials keep it real and reasonably affordable. Super friendly staff. Parking isn't the best, but it works.

We have loved eating at Norman Quacks for several years now. My current favorite is the Monty Cristo, called the Monty Quackster. We love their Prime Rib, as well. One thing we also like is the fresh-baked (hot) French bread pieces dropped into a basket at our table, along with a flavored butter.

Whether you're out for dinner with family or drinks with friends Stella's on 97 Neighborhood Grille is the place to be. From the moment you walk through the doors you're hit with Stella's welcoming atmosphere. The classic wood décor, natural lighting and
The service was phenomenal, the happy hour was great! The house salad was huge, the man salad (which is an entree salad) was one of the best salads I have had in my life, and I'm 57! So many awesome flavors! The prime burger was flavorful and huuuuge and the truffle fries were tasty!

Key's never disappoints, and to find out this one has a drive through may be a life changing event. I had the eggs Benedict and while it wasn't the best egg bene I've ever had, it was pretty darn good. It's a bright and friendly spot, low key and unpretentious... and to quote our fantastic waitress "If we can get it through the window, you can order it through the drive through." Best to call ahead on full meals or things besides coffee and pie. Just be warned that portions are large and their pancakes are huge, so come hungry and be sure to try their Jam.

Stopped in at 9 PM this past week, and they closed at 10 PM. Had a long day and was in the mood for steak and baked potatoe. Server said kitchen is fully open so I ordered it. INCREDIBLE. Steak done perfectly, cold salad for starters and a great tasteing baked potatoe. You would have never guessed that It was less than an hour from closing. Everything was so fresh. Service was excellent. I tipped the cook $20, on a $19.95 meal. He/she deserved it. It tasted awesome. Highly recommend it!
