First time to Lord Fletcher. Warm day with lots of boat traffic and people out for a good evening. Made reservations for seating above the crazy patio which made for super people watching with good music. The shrimp, parm chicken, walleye and appetizers were shared with excellent reports. Will try this again soon.

Local Tavern located at the cross section of Hwy 5 and county road 4. Tavern style food open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner. The place where everyone knows your name!
While visiting family in Minnesota we were taken here for lunch. Overall it was a very pleasurable experience. Nice selection of food on the menu including vegetarian options, great beer selection on tap and terrific service. Whenever we visit MN we try to get some Walleye and they had a few choices.I started with the "I Just Want a Small Salad" and it was anything but small. I went for their Walleye Fish and Chips (I rarely eat fried fish but this was a treat) and they were absolutely delicious! Prices were fair and the quality of food was very good. Also our waitress was EXCELLENT! I'm sory I forgot her name! Definitely will be back the next time we are in MN.Thank you for the great compliments! We are so glad that you enjoyed your dining experience with us! We love that you rarely eat fish but loved our fish and chips! We look forward to seeing you again when you come back through town!

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
As a small group of 8, we visited Houlihan's. Everyone was happy with their meals and service. I had a shrimp dish which is great. One comment I would like to make as I have an extreme allergy. They were very accommodating and and made sure I did not have to worry about any cross-contamination. We will return!!So thrilled to hear you and your group enjoyed your visit! Thanks for letting us know.

Food is average at best BUT ir is across the street from the lake and sitting on the sidewalk deck with a pitcher of beer (Yes they have pitchers) is great people watching in the warm season. Not the best for kids, this is a working mans drinking bar inside.

Easy walk from Lake Minnetonka. In a cute down town area, with unique little boutiques.Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. We enjoyed some good craft beers and appetizers. The nachos were very good and so were the tacos and cheese curds. If you are looking for a relaxing, no-frills place to eat in Excelsior, this is it.

Fresh Modern Cuisine Chef Drive menu will feature seasonal ingredients grown in our on-site gardens prepared in our state of the art kitchen. The food is sophisticated, fun and approachable. Featuring a pre-fixe menu, a la carte, and our bar happy hour 4-
Always wanted to try Cast and Cru, but not on a night I was attending the show at Old Log, as I didnât want to rush through a meal. We chose to come for just dinner, enjoyed a leisurely paced dinner with friends, perfect in every way. Wait staff Katy was so attentive, and Chef Matt Elless did not disappoint with fabulously prepared small plates and entrees. Several of our party chose to dine on multiple small plates instead of an entree, the prosciutto wrapped scallops were a hit as weâre the crab cakes. The skuna bay salmon entree was beautifully prepared, pan seared, served with red and golden beets, and a goat cheese foam, smoked spinach, and lemon mint gel. The chef uses honey , vegetables and herbs from the kitchen garden when the season allows, and also uses house made maple syrup. Dessert of Asian fusion Meyer lemon tart with matcha meringue and coconut crust was to die for! (gluten free for those of you wanting a delicious option). We will definitely return, and will try the Wednesday date nightâ which features $20 per person three course menu, wine pairings extra. We are so glad to welcome you to Cast & Cru and are happy to see you'll return and experience our "Date Night" on Wednesday, Executive Chef Matt is quite remarkable. Look on our Facebook page for his Wednesday night menus. Our restaurant does have diners prior to the Old Log Theatre performances and on Thursday-Saturday they are done by 730p. Making your reservations at 730p will ensure you that leisurely pace you are looking. Thank you for your review and we look forward to hosting you again.

I stopped in with the family on Father's day June 16th 2019. My burger was alright. Nothing special except for the bacon which was thick and smoky. We all had fries and none of us ate them. What kind of fancy restaurant can't even make some edible fries? My girlfriend got the French Onion soup and didn't eat it. It had a weird sweet flavor. My shrimp corn chowder was really good. Then I see my girlfriend picking at her walleye sandwich so I ask to try it. I took just a bit of the white walleye flake from the middle and I could not get it out of my mouth fast enough. Keep in mind that I am not a picky eater at all. I once ate 5 nightcrawlers for a charity event but I spit this walleye out and immediately began looking for something to wash my tongue. I'm home now and swishing Listerine and I still can't get the taste out of my mouth. It's as if they just completely forgot to remove the skin or something. The fishiness was overwhelming and rancid tasting. By far the worst fish I've ever put in my mouth, bar none. It was the worst thing of any kind I've put in mouth and I've had Lutefisk. I have cooked my fair share of walleye over the years and I'm not very good at it. I've botched it horribly many times and it still comes out delicious every time. Then we laugh about how it is impossible to screw up walleye. It is impossible. It's delicious every time no matter what you do. Well, not at Hazellewood Grill. God, I can still taste it. Just absolutely putrid. Literally like licking a live fish and sucking the slime off. I am shocked that a fancy restaurant with these prices would put something like this on a table in front of a customer. Just shocked beyond belief. They took it off the bill but that is far too little for something this horrible. They should have comped the whole bill. Better yet. Fire the chef from that night. That is absolutely unforgivable. I wouldn't eat here again if they gave me free food for the rest of my life.We are so sorry to read that this was your experience with us. Would you please be willing to contact our general manager and discuss this experience. Her name is dede conkey. You can reach her at 952-401-0066 or her email is [email protected]

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Sat outdoors on the deck. Great waitress, fun and personable. I had the caprese salad. It was fantastic! Light and fresh. They serve Gull Dam Raspberry Wheat Beer here. Had a pint, paired perfectly with the salad and sunshine. We will definitely be back!

If youâre looking for unique drinks, definitely check out Coalition. I had the Aviation & my husband had an Old Fashion. My drink was Amazing! Itâs a gin drink with sweet floral undertones. The Old Fashion was well made, including a slightly charred orange peel. Next time, we will check out the food menu!

Very nice lunch experience at Maynards. Nice atmosphere, lovely lake view and top notch service. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. My Cobb salad was exceptional, tasty grilled chicken, crisp cool romaine and lots of goodies.. blue cheese, bacon , olives, egg and perfectly ripe avocado slices. Burgers also great, cooked to order, beefy flavor, very good. Great stop after a visit to the Arboretum.
