Sinag Hostel offers you an affordable and sustainable home on the island of siargao, close to the most famous surfing spot, Cloud 9, and few meters away from the Sunset bridge. Situated on the quiet neighborhood of Catangnan, Sinag serves as a comfortable and welcoming space for you to rest, chill out and meet new friends in between adventures.
Have you ever watched a prank video that backfired? Because it just happened to me, in the best way possible. My stay in Sinag Hostel was supposed to be temporary. 4 nights, a place where I can hide while I'm prepping a surprise for a friend's birthday. But this hostel won't settle for being temporary. The owner, managers, and even fellow guests will give you one hell of a good time that you'll have no choice but go back. So I gladly went back and my 4 night stay turned into 2 weeks. Then Covid19 happened, that's where my surprise birthday trip backfired. Almost all of the businesses were closing, but in true Sinag fashion, they kept the hostel open to help stuck tourists like me on the island. All that they're supposed to do is give us a place to stay, but they gave me a new standard of "going above and beyond". Grocery runs for each guest, kept everyone entertained by coming up with games, checked that all guests are in before curfew hits, and even went as far as making sure that everyone's eating healthy without spending too much. I haven't even scratched the surface of everything that they've done for us during the lockdown. A pandemic was happening, but Suzie, Isa, Rain, and everyone that I met in Sinag made me feel grateful that my plan backfired and got stuck with these amazing people who know how to "relak their body" and have fun amidst this chaos. So just a fair warning to everyone, once we're back to the new normal, think twice before booking Sinag Hostel. Essentially, they will give you the best island experience that y'all will dig to stay longer and maybe, beat my 75 days (and counting) stay.

Amazing vibes, clean amenities and great staff! The brand new rooftop with cinema, bar and pooltable is truly amazing! The kitchen can be used for free, hot showers, aircon in all rooms, free wifi and water and still it is very affordable.

Tres Islas Hostel (TIH) is run by a family and is fairly new, opening its doors in October 2018. Since TIH is family owned, we treat our guests as one of ours! A part of our family! No matter which part of the globe you come from! We encourage everyone to be a part of our small community and respect one another. We want your stay here in Siargao to be full of fond and unforgettable memories! Tres Islas Hostel is situated in Catangnan, General Luna Siargao. It is 2 minutes drive to Cloud 9, (one of the biggest surfing spots in the island)! 5 minutes drive to the main area of General Luna where the shops, restaurants, market and port for island hopping are located. We have motorcycles for rent, we offer air-conditioned van transportation to and from the airport for your convenience.
Overall, I had a great experience with Tres islas hostel Siargao. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The rooms and especially their toilets are really clean and well maintained. ? value for money Highly recommended!

Being the cheapest hostel in Siargao, I wasn’t expecting much but this was the best place ever to stay at. Comfy beds, AC dorm with curtains/lockers, clean showers/toilets, everything. Mostly, the staff is AMAZING. The twins are so funny and can take you on adventures surfing and to their coconut farm. Maymay and Koko, they are the best.

Very good home stay, a real family will be there to welcome you. Many meetings and good time spent at moonlight. Very affordable price, confortable room (air cond or fan) and good breakfast. I recommend a lot.
Deck is an affordable dorm and hotel.

The staff/owner let the guests drink an shout an scream until 3am!! No consideration for other guests!! How can anyone sleep if all the guests an the staff are drunk, shouting screaming an just generally being so loud that u want to check out!! Staff an owners drunk with there friends making it impossible to sleep or relax...we were supposed to get up at 5am for surfing but with 2 hours sleep they screwed up all our plans. They did not even have an event on so I do not understand why they were all screaming until 3 am. Avoid this place at all costs!

We booked this room last minute due to lack of options and took the double room available. It was not a part of the main hostel (which looked alright) and was instead at the back of the kitchen. It was small and dank with a grubby floor and stained towels. The room was made out of a thin board material with no light and an odd smell. Bathrooms were rather poorly kept and were quite separate from the main hostel area. The bed was relatively comfortable, location was good and at least there was a fan but would not stay here again unless i absolutely had to - you can get much better elsewhere for the money!
