I ordered a grilled chicken salad sandwich and when it came out it had cranberries in it. I can't stand the taste of cranberries so I scraped the chicken salad onto the plate and ate around them. The menu just said "homemade chicken salad". It should have added "made with cranberries". I would never have ordered it if they had. The homemade chips that came with my sandwich were either overcooked or greasy and under cooked.
My husband had the sliced beef brisket sandwich and mashed potatoes. He shared his with me and both were very good. They also had a good selection of BBQ sauces to choose from.
The place was very clean with the tables spaced a good distance apart and our server was very attentive.

Stopped by to check out Open Road for a tour group I have coming up in May. Pleasant surprise at how helpful and competent the staff was. Offered suggestions for house-made sweets as well as strong coffee knowledge. (pun). Nika was very friendly and genuinely interested in making guests happy.

It's a great place for good food. The pizza is out of this world. I love their subs and of course their pasta dishes are the best too.
When we go in everyone knows my daughter and it feels like a family.
Great family place to eat.

Great dining experience within the Tryon Equestrian Center. If you enjoy sushi, you'll love Blue Ginger. Many interesting combinations of sushi rolls. After eating, the Equestrian Center is absolutely beautiful. Make it a day- watch the horse show competitions, shopping, dining and outdoor bar.

This downtown pub is always busy but the wait is usually short. Staff is well trained and food is above average for pub food and as New Englanders we have to admit that the clam chowder is excellent. Gluten free rolls are available. Excellent entertainment on Thursday nights.

This shop has the best ice cream around. We drive 30 minutes to get there when we want ice cream. We have not found anyone else offering the Hershey brand. The fruit flavors are especially rich.

I met a friend I had not seen in a long while here for lunch. The place was full, but the service was quick and friendly. The food was very tasty and the baked goods, especially the almond cookies and chocolate cracked cookies were wonderful. Even though they were very busy, we we're not made to feel rushed and allowed to "visit". Because of this first very pleasant experience, we returned the next week for cookies!

Driving from the Charlotte airport to Hendersonville, our group of three got hungry. We got off the highway at Columbus, not knowing what to expect. We stopped in the area of Southern Manners where there were 2-3 restaurants. When we saw the word "deli" on their sign, we decided to try it. We were surprised and pleased with the sandwiches we selected - fresh ingredients, tasty and reasonably priced. Definitely an unexpected find.

I had high hopes for Roger's Diner, but I ended up a little disappointed. The service was slow and the food was just the average diner fare. There was nothing memorable other than the $6 milk shakes (over priced). We will likely give them another try on a non-event day.
