Welcome To The Schoolhouse RestaurantBuilt in 1863, at the end of the Civil War, the Schoolhouse was the first of its kind to have a second story. Our family’s goal with The Schoolhouse was to turn this historic landmark into a place where you can enjoy a simple home cooked meal while enjoying the company of your family and friends. For fifty years, the Miller family has taken pride in the fact that we still embody the same homespun appeal that has made us famous for so many years. We are excited to share our family recipes as well as new dishes that you will enjoy! We are proud to say that a visit to The Schoolhouse Restaurant is a truly unique Cincinnati experience!
Have been wanting to visit Schoolhouse for years. My husband & I did so on a Sunday evening.
Pros:
Locally owned
Unique location with interesting history
Stuff for the kids (animal petting area, playground)
Fast service
Huge portions
Wait and managing staff were friendly
Great cornbread
Cons:
While portions are huge, everything was under spiced (we had their fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans and canned corn.) Very bland. Other than their house salad dressing which was quite sweet. Fake butter- sorry this is a personal pet peeve.
Small meal area, not a lot of tables.
Dining area is quite noisy- it was diffcult to talk to each other.
Overall, let down by the food. Which is why people go to a restaurant to eat good food. Really a shame because add great food to the experience and this place would be a gold mine for the owners.

We thought we were going to the Holtman's Donut location near Cincinnati, but thanks to Siri...we wound up at the Loveland location. What a find! The people here were so friendly and the donuts were nothing short of yeasty pillows of love! Yeah...they were THAT good! We got a dozen and, as we headed down the road towards NC, we wished we'd bought another dozen. These are some of the best donuts EVER!

Great cake donuts! Apple fritters on Friday and Saturday. The best! Get there early. When they are gone they are gone.

Miami Market is conveniently located on SR 131 and has a drive through beverage stand as well as a storefront with high quality meats, homemade dinners to go, and salads by the portion. We recommend the buffalo chicken dip and the chicken cranberry salad. Boar's Head lunch meat and cheese are available. Great dinner menu each month to carry out, as well!

Neat little place right in the middle of old Milford. They serve some ice cream, coffee, soda and treats here. Nothing special but it does bring back old memories when these types of places were everywhere. Very old photos adorn the walls as a tribute to the history of the building.
So much to see and do in old Milford and this is a great little place for your sweet tooth. They are open year round.

Was looking for a non-chain place to eat while in town and came across this gem! Great service, food and atmosphere. The hand cut fries “fired up” are so good!! Just be prepared for lots of garlic! The price point is perfect for families. Plenty of options for everyone.

Visited here based on stellar Yelp reviews on way home. Wife really liked pulled pork. Buffalo chicken sandwich, trio sliders, fries, mac n cheese and Superman ice cream were all soulful and delicious. People there are invested and genuine. Will come back, and probably give 5 stars upon eating there (carried out tonight). Would recommend.

The 20 Brix wine bar and restaurant features over 100 selections by the glass or bottle. Along with an extensive wine list, the restaurant has an impressive assortment of premium liquors and specialty beers. 20 Brix also includes a patio with comfortable seating areas for customers to enjoy. 20 Brix has created an environment that not only provides a unique wine and food experience to patrons, but also a relaxing backdrop to enjoy every last sip and bite. The knowledgeable staff is ready to offer suggestions and tastes of the available wines at any time. Part of the pleasure of visiting the 20 Brix wine bar and restaurant is pairing your favorite wine with one of the contemporary entrees, salads, or pizzas.
We were going to try another restaurant but couldn't get in. Driving through Milford, we spotted 20 Brix. Busy on the outside and inside but we found a place at the bar. Lucky for us!! Joe, the bartender, was great! We had the pate and shared the catfish. Plenty of food and so wonderful. Everyone was so friendly - even met the owner who was everywhere helping out. Give this place a try!!!

I almost can't believe the low reviews that I am reading on here! I can't help but to wonder if they are from the competition! My hubby and I attended this restaurant back in 2012 for an amazing breakfast! It was delicious. We have been back several times over the years and keep this as a place to celebrate special occasions because it is a little beyond our budget to make it a weekly event! Though, it is well worth every penny we spend there. We especially love that they have their own garden and many of the items are from their garden. The atmosphere is always cozy (we don't like stuffy, fancy restaurants) and the service is top notch as well. To us... every bite is an experience! Apparently - this place has come a long way since 2012 so please don't pass up the chance to stop by for your own experience. And in case you are wondering... we don't know the owners... we just love this place! :) Dee and Wayne

Undoubtedly the BEST Thai place on the East side and ALSO the BEST Sushi and Shashimi. To me what makes this place exceptional are their sauces...simply exceptional. Although they try to be a "Thai" place and indeed their Thai food is awesome they also have Japanese (the sushi and shashimi) as well as Korean (they have a very good spicey Kimchee soup). Outdoor seating is also available. Wonderful!
