A well-run family restaurant. The taste and quality of the food is super. Service is done by the smiling faces :)) You feel like you are hosted in your friend's house. Perfect place for sailors

Ate here with our friends who live in Milas. The Kella Paca (sheeps head soup) was different to that which I have previously had - more a broth with meat - but it was excellent. Many of the dishes are served on or in wooden plates or bowls. There is plenty of bead, salad and meze included with the meal - you wont' leave hungry.
You can choose to sit in the 'conservatory' area roadside, or inside, where there is a children's activity area with ball pool.
Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere and good service. Would be very happy to dine here again and would not hesitate to recommend to others.

It is a simple but special place to eat Turkish traditional meatball. They serve you on the bread with onion and garden rocket. The price is reasonable and waiters are very friendly.

While driving from Bodrum to İzmir,we have decided to have our lunch at Bafa Lake side and stopped at this lakeside restaurant.Very good location but at this moment there is no stream to the lake,it is very much polluted and smell is terrible. We have ordered ele fish grilled and it was perfect and very delicious.Good price as well. However service is somehow slow.
Pls stop by and try this one.In my opinion very soon this part of the lake will be totally disturbed due to insufficient fresh water,so you have limited time to make a test.

Literally in the grounds of an Opet petrol station (lol) just outside of Milas, heading towards Bodrum. This family-run business offers good quality home-cooked food and fast and efficient service. A little pricey due to out-of-town traffic I suspect being their main clientele. Excellent food though.

We stayed at the hotel attached to this restaurant and were struck by how great this place is. We're from Australia and have been disappointed by the touristy menus in nearby Bodrum and Yalikavak. So to find locally produced Turkish food with such a great view of Lake Bafa was a pleasant surprise. We stayed three nights at the hotel and don't bother to eat anywhere else for our evening meals. The smoked eel was sold out the first night due to a major public holiday so our host smoked some specially for us on our third night (smoked eel takes two days to prepare due to the curing process). This place is great. It's local, friendly and got a wonderful atmosphere.

We had some time to kill before our flight so we decided to find a fish restaurant and just randomly chosed Lagun. What a delight. We sat by the sea side. because of the time of the day they didnt have much to choose from but, the shrimps were big and tasty, the calamari also good. But the "lokum" OMG. The owner/cook offered and we said yes. It was oh so delicious. You should try it.

I stumbled across this little gem of Fish restaurant on my way to Bodrum. We stopped for a quick lunch and so glad we did.
Food was so fresh and delicious and elegant presentation without been pretentious. We loved the atmosphere and the waterfront tables all so simple and the warm welcome from the young staff very knowledgeable and professional.
I can not wait to go on my next visit to Ihtiyar Balikci if you are visiting Bodrum or in the area its worth to go extra mile and I would recommend to spend the day by the beach.
We will definitely be there next time and highly recommend it.
