Stretching from the wooded Dordogne to the towering peaks of the Pyrenees, this vast region is a popular winter sports destination, but one without the hordes that besiege the Alps. Spring's melted snows lure kayakers and rafting enthusiasts. In summer, amateur and advanced hikers take to the hills.

Hélène and Jean welcome you to their 18th century house, The house is surrounded by a 3 ha grounds in the middle of the vineyards of Armagnac. Hélène did not discover the Gers, she grew up here. Daughter of a known winemaker in the region, she will make you, through her cultural and gastronomic knowledge, discover the rich historical heritage of Gascony, the hilltop villages and bastides, the vineyard of Armagnac, foie gras and duck producers , Côtes de Gascogne wines, garlic and many other local artisanal products. Discover many other hidden treasures of the Gers thanks to the expert advice Helene will give you after breakfast every day. Jean, native of Québec and neo-gersois for nearly 20 years, will serve you his specialty, pancakes and french toasts with maple syrup. The Gers, a place of discovery, authenticity and far from mass tourism. The house is ideally located at an equal distance between Larressingle and its fortified village, the Abbey of Flaran, a cultural centre and the town of Condom. 200 meters from our B&B, is the «green path» which is a bike and walking trail 20 kms long. From there, you can discover all that the Gascon country offers to the visitor. Hélène & Jean Royer
We have been coming for more than 8 years and were immediately seduced by the warm welcome of Helene and Jean, and by their beautiful and charming house. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Héléne treats us with breakfasts prepared with fresh and home-made products. We never miss the opportunity to enjoy the table d'hôtes, with a special mention for the homemade foie gras terrine made with floc du Gascogne, and her refined cuisine. Over the years, the garden has become a paradise of flowers and plants, with beautiful, fragrant rosebushes that we were able to admire during our last stay in May 2022. We plan to come back soon!

We spent 2 nights at the Clos du Barry. It's a beautiful place fully renovated and our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely view on the courtyard and garden. Guillaume and Christelle are extremely welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful with homemade products and very copious. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return if we go back to visit the region.

Close to train station. Fairly basic rooms. Reasonable value and ok for a 1 night stay in transit but not a holiday destination. Breakfast was minimal but what you expect for €6. Reception closes at 7pm so my colleague was caught out as he arrived later.

The room was absolutely amazing! The hot tub being an added bonus and really easy to use. We were lucky enough to watch the sunset from the hot tub which was very romantic. The host was lovely and attentive. In addition, the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. There was Netflix also in the room which could be played in both English and French. Nonetheless, it was about a 20 minute walk from the Centre and really easy to find. I would definitely return.

Nice place to stay. Nice rooms. We came here last year and saw a difference. The common places are not so clean anymore. The people at the reception are not always friendly, this really depends on who is behind the reception.

It was our first time in the south of France for our honeymoon, my spouse and I had a relaxing and incredible time staying at La Villa de Mazamet. The owners/hosts, Geoffrey and Janice, were both warm and welcoming, and the rooms are immaculate and beautifully decorated. Every morning we were greeted with a lovely spread of pastries and it was truly relaxing just to hang around the villa in the various lounges and reading nooks. Garden is well kept and Geoffrey and Janice are always providing great recommendations on activities and for dining. Amazing experience and can’t wait to visit again, even if it’s just to stay in the villa!

We had the the most enjoyable stay at Les Tilleuls. The location is slightly out of Millau town but still within easy reach. The directions are very good on the road signs which is handy as it is tucked away. The hosts are brilliant and really make you feel at home. The property is a real delight if you like quiet, rural surroundings, and an amazing breakfast is served on the terrace. The pool wasn't set up at the time of our visit but was being prepared for the summer season. A welcome addition when the summer weather hots up. It was in the high 20's when we were there in May!
