We were visiting friends just down the road. After stuffing ourselves over Thanksgiving we decided we needed a good burger. Our friends love this place. We were not disappointed. Our mushroom and cheese burger was perfect. The bonus was the onion rings that were light and crispy. Tara was our server and did a great job.

Craft Work is the perfect neighborhood restaurant and bar. There is no doubt the staff is focused on your experience and the food and bar menu is crafted for everyone to find something they will love. One side is traditional restaurant seating and the other communal. They never have a bad day. I'm a frequent visitor and keep coming back because they delight me and my friends every time. The white fish is always very filling. When they have quail it is outstanding. I've probably had 250 oysters there and never had a bad one. Cocktails are as good as anywhere in the city. Truly fantastic cocktails made with care.

It had been sometime since we had been to Whiskey Six for dinner and we were really glad we returned. Entering the restaurant we were reminded of the thought put into the "look" of the bar and restaurant - warm and inviting. We always enjoy seeing the antique Studebaker elevated above the restaurant. Our server Courtney was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. There is a wide selection of craft cocktails, whiskies (obviously) and other mid to high end liquors. Outstanding craft beer selections as well. The restaurant offered March Madness specials which included bargains on their delicious burgers and the option to add a craft beer to the order for only $2. The food selection is upscale pub food that is very well done. Several in our party shared the roasted Brussels Sprouts which has been a popular appetizer since Whiskey Six opened. We all opted for Burgers and each one was prepared just as requested. Our drinks were eclectic and included good Irish whiskey, craft beer and wine. Our visit to Whiskey Six reminded us to return there more often for drinks and dinner.

You'll enjoy the Village Grill whether alone, with a friend or your family. Plenty of TV's keep you up to date on all the games. A game room for the kids keeps them busy. The food quite good, and the service quick and friendly. Friends love to congregate there.
This is a beautiful Irish bar with very friendly wait staff and excellent drink specials. Highly recommended for a comfortable night out.

When spunky Rochelle appeared from around the bar in a short, white cheerleaders skirt and white sneakers on this HOT day, we knew we were in the right place! Marge's has been around for 52 years. It's a little neighborhood bar themed on Detroit's hockey-town image. Everyone seemed to know everybody at the bar, but we outsiders were made to feel welcome just the same! I found the single stall Women's Restroom clean and stocked. My guy said his restroom was fine.Draft beers selections are decent. The Italian sausage on pita is time-honored and comes from a local (east side) sausage maker. I'd have liked it spicier, however it's of course, an individual thing. That said, my companion and I both agreed that the house-made corned beef on the grilled Reuben with Russian dressing is flat-out GREAT.Metered parking is available in the small adjacent lot or on Mack Ave. Rochelle was good about telling patrons to faithfully feed the meter to avoid tickets. We hope to return with friends soon!

I went here for lunch with my mom she said they serve Mediterranean among other things. It was a nice place , clean and appeared new . Service was good although it wasn;t real busy for 1 in the afternoon. I had a lemon rice soup and Fatoosh salad both fresh and tasty . My mom hummus with ground lamb on top also tasty and fresh. they offered many other good looking choices and the prices seemed reasonable. I would go back.

Situated on Kercheval & Lakepointe in Grosse Pointe Park's business district, Atwater in the Park is proudly serving handcrafted beer and spirits in a beautifully renovated historic church! A biergarten and gastropub with a unique and unorthodox dining ex
We went there after going out with my mom she wanted to try it. First the good ! I like the ambiance of the church setting. It wasn't very busy for a Sunday afternoon. Besides them having several home brews they make ( had the Detroit Dry cider not bad ) they have a nice menu . I had the chicken and waffles , my wife the chicken sandwich with Habenero dressing . My mom a nice salad and onion soup. I thought the food was excellent I got 2 waffles and a plumb piece of chicken which my wife also complemented her chicken. My mom enjoyed hers as well. Now the bad ! The service was very disappointing for the amount of people and the amount of staff they had. It took forever to get our food and when we did my wife and I got ours but my moms still took a bit. Really for soup and a salad ! Plus our waitress never asked if my mom wanted her soup first to start and salad when we got ours. She was nice but forgot some small things and wasn't really on the ball . My wife and I don't live in the area my mom does we would go back for the food and ambiance but if the service is like that again that would be it.
