IT'S NOT JUST PIZZA AT PIETRO'S !! -- It's a marvelous Italian family restaurant. Underneath ceilings chock full of flowers and vines, as if the whole café was nestled underneath ancient grape vines, Pietro's has wonderful booths that make each party feel like you're in a private dining room, even if an entire graduating party is there celebrating, as we had. This place has all the Italian recipe favorites -- and great tomato sauce, bright red, garlicky and roasted-tasting. They offered many good-value specials. We both had comfort food, all the way from antipasto to pasta to cheesecake. And I'm all about that carefully chosen glass of big red wine at the end of the day, and these folks had pretty good-looking stemware for a family restaurant.I don't get to Grand Rapids very often, but I can't wait to get back to Pietro's.

First of all, I think the size is adequate for what they charge. (If you want a large, cheap pizza may I suggest go to Sam's Club or Costco). There's a coupon in the brochure that we took advantage of (large pizza, 2-litter soda, and breadstick for $14). This was recommended by the staff at the Conference Center at Calvin College and I'm glad we ordered dinner. Quick delivery and the pizza is good. It was strange at first since we couldn't find the toppings; it was under the cheese :) The breadstick is good and not greasy with a large side of sauce to add. I ordered a side salad which is a pretty good helping. Very nice staff.

Nice sports bar that's very pizza with the locals quite often. The pizza is good, but the best thing here is the cheese bread. Yowzers I could eat that whole thing. Nice bar here to grab a drink and share a few slices with friends and play some pool or golden tee.

Busy place, good atmosphere and good Italian food. I actually think they do the dinners better than pizza but their pizza is pretty good. Good quality cheese, just the sizes and quantity you get aren't enough to feed my family unless I buy a bunch, which these aren't the cheapest pizzas either. Still, love the lasagna.

This is a simple restaurant but the food is excellent. It was good for a business meeting because it wasn't noisy or too busy. I had chicken Alfredo and the sauce was excellent. The prices were reasonable too. Quick and efficient service as well.

We were there with 5 kids and 2 adults. The kids each had tried something different and all of them loved it. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was clean. The price of the food was reasonable also and so were the drinks.

We stopped in for lunch and had a very friendly waiter. We ordered pasta and pizza. The pasta was mediocre and uninspired. But the pizza was good. There was a long bar and noisy loud music playing. It was like the restaurant couldnât decide if it wanted to be a pizza place or a bar. Not my favorite.

The food was good, and the service was thoughtful. The individual pizza (thick crust) had more toppings and less bread than I prefer, but it was well made and served hot. It has a sports bar atmosphere, and is a bit loud. Surprisingly, it has a decent selection of entrée salads. The beer selection is large and comprehensive. There were quite a few young families with children there when we visited.

Family from far flung places participated pleasurably in a great Italian meal delivered to our door by Pietroâs. Lasagna, spaghetti, caesar salad, breadsticks and cannoli were all well done and well received by our guests. Generous servings were so good that most of the 15 gathered still went back for seconds. A definite repeat.
